Aliki in general, and Evita's apartments in particular, are a perfect getaway spot for families visiting Paros. Of all the villages we visited on the island, Aliki was the mellowest, and though there were of course many tourists there, but it's not stifling from an overflow of tourists and the beaches, while not as big or "organized" as other beaches in Paros, are very nice, with a very gentle incline so that it's  shallow quite far out. 

Evita is super, everything that has been written about her is true. She's wonderful! She will help you with everything she can - the most accommodating host you could wish for! The apartment we stayed in was on the upper floor, with a view of the sea. It's basically one large room with a partition between the "bedroom" and the living room/kitchenette area. It's quite comfortable, if not large, and is equipped of course with all the basic necessities, like a refrigerator, stove and the like. There is air conditioning but when we were there in mid-August it was the windy season, so we didn't really need the air conditioning.
In short, if you are a family visiting Paros, I highly recommend staying in Aliki, and with Evita, if you can! 

Perfect place for families

We were lucky to find a room at evita's last minute in august (there was a cancellation and we filled the slot). Evita really got out of her way to make us comfortable. She's an openhearted hospitable person that looks you in the eyes. Everything in the room was brand new and chosen with a woman's touch. There was ample closet space and a small kitchenette for light cooking. The room had a smell of cleanliness and everything was spotless. Room was cleaned up every day and towels were changed. There was a double balcony to make sure there is shadow all day and the beach was just a 50 m walk. Everything was easy and felt like home. Recommended for families.

We stayed at Evita Apartments for 13 nights in June and were delighted with our choice. 

The booking process (made direct with Evi the lovely owner) was easy - she speaks excellent English and responded to emails very quickly. Evi met us at Paros airport and was the perfect hostess for the duration of our stay making suggestions about local restaurants and providing advice about other places to visit on the island. She cooked dinner for us one evening and took us out another evening and was excellent company and had interesting stories to tell.

The apartments are ideally situated away from any village noise yet only a couple of metres from the beach and a very short walk along the beach into the village.

We stayed in apartment number 5 (the middle apartment on the top floor) which has a beautiful large balcony with a view out to sea. The apartment was spacious and stylish and was kept spotlessly clean by Marina the friendly cleaning lady who came in every day. The high quality linen and towels were changed frequently. A well appointed kitchen is available for anyone wishing to cater for themselves with ample crockery, cutlery, pans, glasses, etc. 

The village of Aliki is fairly quiet but has a couple of supermarkets (one with ATM), a bakery, gift shop, bicycle hire and car hire. There are a dozen or so restaurants serving good quality food and at very reasonable prices, most of them on the waterfront.

If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with good quality accommodation then we can highly recommend Evita Apartments.

Highly recommended apartments

We were at the Aliki Apartments in May /June, the owner Evita,a lovely Greek lady, was there awaiting our arrival, so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us! Supplies in the fridge for our arrival, tea,coffee biscuits , all provided as was the bug plugs ,insect spray and mosquito wick ring for outside in the evening. The apartment was sparklingly clean , and very comfortable, everything for a lovely holiday here.
 The towels and bed linen were of excellent quality and changed each day, by Marina the considerate, excellent cleaning lady . Nothing is too much trouble for Evita if it means she can help you to have a lovely time.She will advise where to go on the island , where the shops and best tavernas are , and enlighten you to a bit of village history too! .She speaks very good English and loves to talk to everyone, she's always on hand looking after her garden , and the small community gardens at the small harbour across the road from her lovely house..we had the best holiday we have had for years here ,because we felt at home, The local people are all lovely and friendly , we travel quite a lot ,to different places in the world , always at least once a year to different islands in greece ,but next year we,re going back to the lovely Evita and her apartments.

Best holiday in years!

We choose to stay here for our honeymoon and it proved to be a perfect location.  The apartment was comfortably appointed (we had all the equipment needed) with balconies having a view of the sea.  

The town is 100ms along the sand so it's very convenient.  Short enough to make a dash if you get caught in the rain.

The owner Evita was wonderfully welcoming and helpful.  She booked a local reliable transfer for us for our late arrival ferry, provided a bottle of wine and even fresh eggs for breakfast.

A highlight would be hiring a dune buggy from Aliki village and taking it to Antiparos on the ferry. Don't forget to top up on petrol before leaving Antiparos town :)

Also don't think you can just pull the curtains in the evening to keep out mosquitoes.  We sat on the balcony with a glass of wine and some music one evening and fondly thought we had done enough.  Not so.  We were scatching for a day or two afterwards.  Next evening the doors were firmly closed while we sat outside and no problems ensued :)
