We stayed for 4 nights, family with 2 kids. Room and balcony was large enough. All rooms had sea view. The private beach is very near and each room had own canopes. Small kitchen is an advantage for families with small kids. The owner is veey  kind lady and is also very professional.

Nice atmosphere and quietness 

First, the host are very nice and really supportive and helpfull.
Second,we have a studio for 4, really well equiped, nice kitchen and 2 really matrimonial beds. The sea view from our terrace is priceless. Indeed the bathroom is small but is equiped with everything you need.
You can ask as many towels you need.
Everything is very clean, the main road and other buildings are far enough to ensure a very quiet vacation.
Really big garden, you can make barbeque or let the kids play without worring.  
The beach is really close, like 2-3 minutes walking, the chaise longue are free also.
The water is really blue, not to big waves, the kids can play on the sand beach or water - the water is not too deep at the shore. Perfect for snorkeling.
2 supermarkets -like 10 minutes walking, same distance for tavernas and restaurants (we recomend Mikiverna).
Definetly i would come back, as it's perfect for family vacation.


Relaxed vacation / perfect family vacation

Das Haus Eleonas (owned by a Greek-German family) is a small, self-catering holiday house where you could fully relax enjoying the homey atmosphere, the picturesque sea view from the terrace and the perfectly kept garden with palms, pear tree, fig trees, flowers etc. Fortunately the buildings around are at a good distance, the main road as well, so we had a quiet and undisturbed holiday!

We (2 adults and 2 small kids) were accommodated in a studio. It was spacious enough; we spent great time and had our meals mainly on the big terrace! The WC is relatively small and need some refreshment. There is a very well equipped kitchenette.

The garden is also quite big, there are tables, sun chairs, cradles for the kids and 2 grills which could be used by the guests. The owners are very friendly and provided all we needed. Most of the guests were Germans. The nice sandy beach (there are actually stones only when entering the sea) is close to the house (less than 5 min. walk) and was all the time almost empty.

Supermarkets, a good tavern, a beach bar are all located near the house (10-20 min. on foot).

We had a great holiday and would definitely come back!

So homey, so comfy...

First of all,the owners were very very friendly and helpful!!!I was surprised by how well was their kichen equipped with everything that you might need,it even had a coffe machine!!The room was plain but cozy and it was just what we wanted!Haus eleonas had also a very very big yard where you could barbeque or just relax!I was really satisfied with choosing this hotel and i would definitely visit it again!

Pros:
The owners are very friendly, they work hard and keep the premises in excellent state. The garden is truely impressive. Room was quite big, the balcony as well, having coffee there in the morning while watching the sea was very relaxing. Besides, we had at our disposal everything necessary for a family in a self-catering regimen. One evening we used the barbeque and it was quite usefull to have everything we needed, including an empty fridge beside.
Cons:
To be honest, I was not very impressed with the beach, the sand is not so fine as I was used to....however this doesn t anything to do with Haus Eleonas, as I found this on most beaches in Halkidiki. On the contrary, I would advise you to use the beach right in front of the Haus because the water is clearer and more easily accessible.
