We spent in Villa Andriana one week in June. It is located in Dafni Beach far from the touristic rush. It is a quiet and lovely place where you can enjoy having a rest as there are only few people accommodated. The beach is known because of the turtles coming to lay their eggs from May till August. After 7pm the beach is closed to do not disturb the turtles. There is a guard who controls it. But if you are sitting quietly in the dark on your sunbeds, not dusturbing by the lights of your phone, you can see turtles coming to the beach at night. The sand on the beach is amazing for kids, the sea too. The villa offers everything you need. The only thing we missed was a microwave oven  and some kitchen equipment. They do cleaning every 2-3days and every day they take a garbage. The pool is heated and cleaned every 2 days. The taverna next to the villa belongs to the same family so you can eat on your terrace, they bring ordered food. The wifi was not superb but we were not on a holiday to be online all the time :-) Also we really appreciated earlier check-in and a full fridge as a market is quite far from there. Christina, the owner is a good host and nothing is a problem for her, just to say what you need. We will definitely come back to enjoy this quiet and amazing place. 

Quiet and privacy in a beatufiul place

The houses and the complex are very nice and clean. House, terrace and pool are cleaned every 2nd day (which was almost too much for us). The interior is extensive (well-stocked kitchen) and was mostly okay. Small things that did not work well were quickly fixed. What unfortunately did not work was the wifi, which was unreliable and the connection was hard to get. Also, of the two bathrooms we could only use 1 shower as the 2nd was broken. 
The location is really a dream and it is easy to vacation there with the family. Also, the hostess was very concerned about us. 

However, what we really found sad and made us very concerned, was the treatment of the environment. 
The beach is a marine reserve. The accommodations there should actually not be allowed at all. The amount of tavernas attracts a lot of day tourists who do not follow the rules. Parasols are drilled into the sand (is forbidden) and the fences of the turtle nests are abused as air mattress stands. Unfortunately, the owners of the adjacent taverna (is family connected with the accommodation) do not care, even if you draw their attention to it. There is no interest at all in waste separation, energy saving measures (in the accommodation) or compliance with the regulations. That the guest has a good time (and thus brings money) is more important than the protection of the turtles. Unfortunately, this has left a somewhat stale aftertaste with us.

A beautiful place at the wrong place

I just returned from a week-stay at the wonderful Andriana Elena Villa and I am already looking forward to return. First, the location is outstanding, on Dafni Beach, where we could see every morning the trails of the baby turtles that were hatching and going into the sea. Very fine sandy beach, not many stones in the sea, snorkeling was very rewarding. The Villa was perfect for 5 people, with every amenity. Everything was new and clean. Breakfast was very nice too. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every day and the sunrise and sunset were Incredible as we watched them from our terrace.  It was very peaceful and i never saw better the stars and the Milky Way. There are nice tavernas in the immediate viciinity and it is not far from various attractions. Christina, the host, treated us like family or long time friends and she went out of her way to make us feel good and welcome!  The Villa is marvelous and I recommend it wholeheartedly!
