This was rather a strange place as it was over a restaurant which appears to be closed apart from some occasional local visitors. But the owner was pleasant and welcoming and the whole place has a relaxed feel that I enjoyed. And it was the best value accommodation of our holiday.

The apartment is spacious but nothing special. It has fairly basic amenities but was good enough for what we wanted and I really liked the location. It's close to a pebble beach and within an easy walk of the big sandy beach. We used the pebble beach for just chilling out and snorkeling (the water is amazingly clear!) and you could have a couple of loungers for the price of a drink or ice cream. We tended to use the sandy beach for more of a serious swim to get some exercise, but we were rather put off it on one day when there appeared to be something not too pleasant emptied into it! I couldn't say for certain what it was but it was a large brown slurry that gradually dispersed into the sea.

But my very favourite thing about this apartment was the HUGE balcony with amazing views. We had breakfast on it in the mornings and on one day (while my husband was diving) I spent most of the day just lounging on it reading my book and enjoying the view until about 3pm when it got too hot and with not enough shade.  Some sort of shade on it would make it absolutely perfect!!

Plakias itself is a great base and we loved it. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and everyone seems so friendly. It just has a nice feel. We visited a couple of other places along the coast but were happy with our choice for a base and could happily have filled a few more days there. My husband went diving with a local dive centre ( a 5 star PADI centre) and said it was the most professional outfit he'd ever used.

If I was returning to Plakias (and I hope to some day) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Atlantis apartments.

Good location, good value and that balcony is amazing!!

We can only join the other reviews. This is mainly because the terraces on the upper floor are very generous and through the south side are almost a dream. I don't know what it's like in the Indian main season, but in our time it was very quiet and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, a small mini-kitchen round it up very well. A little more generous me more dishes would be even better. Taverns in the area are all within walking distance, are similar in the offer, only differences in quality and price, but that have nothing to do with Atlantis. At the moment there are no TVs installed. We have no tip at all because we have been listening to Corinna twice a week and have been away for several days, and if we have been able to hear this very quickly, we would not be able to ask this very well, if we have been able to see this very quickly after a few days in the early morning, and if we have been in the morning, we would have been able to hear this very well after a few days in the morning.

Price / performance top!

Very beautiful and spacious rooms, very clean. The sea view is indescribable, you could sit on the balcony all day. Many good taverns are nearby. Very affordable. We are already looking forward to our summer vacation.

Autumn holiday

Well located, comfortable and good value. With parking available on the street, the studios of this accommodation have a small kitchenette, but above all the sea view, with balcony, is the best quality they have. It is well located and has very good price quality ratio. The twin room we stayed in was spacious and bright, although we did not have TV the wi-fi was good quality. Great air conditioning, comfortable beds.

Well located, comfortable and good value.

The apartment was huge and clean. Especially the large balcony overlooking the sea was fantastic. In 2 minutes you are at the beach which is perfect for snorkeling. A tavern has a chairs and a shade there that are free to use as soon as you consume something. The apartments are very well located and you can walk to the bus station, to other beaches, supermarkets and many restaurants in just a few minutes. We can recommend Atlantis Apartments 100%.

Wonderful View

It is located a few steps from the most lively area of Plakias, allowing you to enjoy both the town's attractions, and the night's quiet, where the only noise is the breakdown of the waves a few meters from its balcony. The sea in front of the structure is very picturesque, with a fine sandy beach mixed with rocks. The structure does not have a parking lot, but you can find a place in the street in front or in nearby areas. For those who do not want to take even the few steps that divide it from the center, there are however three good taverns facing the road, one of which is Atlantis.

Beautiful sea view

We have been to Atlantis/Plakias once again. The few apartments are always well maintained and clean and are cleaned daily by Katharine. The two upper terraces are a force, it seems you float over the sea.The kitchen line is fine and perfectly sufficient, since we don't always want to cook on holiday. Breakfast is enough to have breakfast on the super terrace. Since Kostas is also a very good cook, we eat with him often. He offers a slightly different, more modern Greek kitchen with the same ingredients as the fine cuisine.

Had many a meal at Atlantis on my 2 weeks stay in Plakiás.  Excellent service from the welcome received.  Amazing views whilst enjoying meals. The service from kostas and Kirsty was outstanding and I never wanted for anything. Always generous servings of food. Best quality and super fresh fish daily. Absolute delight and made my holiday. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Spectacular food

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of October.  What can I say that hasn't already been said? Spotlessly clean rooms, comfy beds, a safe in the wardrobe is available, free wi-fi, aircon, even the smaller balconies are very generously sized, and of course those amazing views.  After a day out one day, upon our return the maid had made a lovely arrangement on the bed using the towels, flowers, and my necklace which I had left lying about.  The bathroom was large and modern looking, with a shower curtain (as usual in Greece it didn't do much, but most places dont have shower curtains anyway).  One thing the room didn't have was a hairdryer, but as the property owner pointed out on my review on Booking.com, I could have asked for one!  I wasn't that bothered (and never thought to ask) but if anyone reading this plans to stay here and can't manage without a hairdryer it's good to know that they have them available - just ask! There were plenty of utensils for self catering if you wanted, but we always eat out at local restaurants anyway.  It's lovely to sit on the balcony with a drink watching the sunset before going out for a meal.  Then return to the balcony later for a nightcap and listen to the sound of the waves before turning in.   The rooms are fitted with a flyscreen so you can leave the window open and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep.   
Yes, the rooms are a little on the pricier side, but is it worth the extra? Yes!  Would I stay here again? Yes!

Bright and Beautiful

I stayed in a studio on the first floor above the taverna. The view from the generous balcony was to die for, particularly at sunset.
The studio was spotlessly clean and maintained that way for my stay thanks to the service of an extremely conscientous maid.
The location is great as you are surrounded by taverna options including that of the Atlantis itself. Whilst the tariff was relatively high for Plakias the complex is value for money. Unfortunately a glitz in their booking process cut my stay short but the owner Kostas was suitably apogetic.
