A very nice apartment for three of us with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a beautiful living room with a kitchen. All very tasteful and new facing a beautiful beach with a roaring sea and also the very pleasant village. Right under our apartment we had a very nice dinner. highly recommended.

A window on the sea

      I stayed in mid November, during the last 2-3 days of a slightly tough business trip. 
     I felt really happy with the room I got taking into account the price I paid. 
     I don't know if it was due to the rough program I had, but I really wish I could stay there a bit more to relax. 
     I had nice temperature in the room, strong wifi signal, TV, air conditioning, large spacious bathroom, large spacious kitchen/living room. 
     Only minor downside, I didn't find a top sheet for the bed to put between me and the blanket. 
     

100% satisfied 

We arrived at Plakias without booking, but the offer of taverns was so wide that we did not worry. From Enpl they had one night off, but they were so rude that we looked next to them and found an absolutely wonderful solution at the Crete sea. Unfortunately, however, at the Crete sea they did not have rooms for the first night, so they sent us directly from Enplos. The very nice rooms, mini apartments, overlooking the sea, but the rude attitude of the boy who cooks and serves the bar below makes you spend the relaxing rest. So we moved happily the second night, without advising him to learn to treat customers. The lady is not rude, a bit brusque but normal.

He's nice, but the boy's so rude, he's looking elsewhere.

We stayed at En Plo for 8 night at the end of June 17. Although we booked a studio for 3 through Booking.com we had contacted the owner by e-mail to ask for the upper (2nd floor) studio facing Plakias beach.

When we arrived we were given a warm welcome by the owner and offered a drink & a lovely home made doughnut at the downstairs café which he ran - very nice indeed. 

He then showed us to our room, which unfortunately was on the lower floor. We protested politely and he checked his records and apologized for his mistake. The room we had requested was not available, but he did offer us a one-bed apartment on the 2nd floor from the following night for the rest of our stay, so we accepted his kind invitation!

Although very basic (as with most accommodation in Greece), the whole place was spotlessly clean throughout. A large living area with small kitchen, and a double bedroom with a large double bed and plenty of storage throughout. The only downside was that the air condition unit would only stay on for 30 minutes (I don't know if we didn't understand it properly or not?). In addition, it was very warm for the time of year in Plakias (42 degrees in the afternoon), with very little wind, again a rarity for Plakias, so the balcony became very hot and uncomfortable, but of course this had nothing to with En Plo! Thank goodness there was a floor fan in the room to cool us down!

The bath/shower room was quite big with nice shower, not the most powerful but plenty of space and the head could be placed up (not hand held as in a lot of places), we really enjoyed our time at the En Plo, lovely people and very clean.

Great location, right by the sea

Just stayed here for 5 nights, had a wonderful time. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in Greece. Our balcony had a lovely sunset and sea view as did most rooms it seemed.
We were right on the edge of the sea so it's a great location.
The room was clean with decent modern facilities, the shower even had a hook!
The owner is underneath at the patisserie so always available- complimentary cinamon bread and raki was there on arrival, most welcome!
Definitely recommend!

Excellent value for money in plakias

we stayed here one night due to our road trip (whole Crete) and we enjoyed there nice one night. You can see and hear the sea what is great! :)
The rooms are basic but clean, well equiped kitchenette, A/C, wifi, TV, super balcony. The lady providing the accommodation service is very friendly. Her son has a pastry shop next door - this i can recommend too :) The closest beach is Limanaki - the bigger Plakias city beach can be reached approximately in 8-10 minutes walking.

Good sea view stay - one night

The room was neat and clean. The price was more at the top of comparable accommodation. A big disadvantage was that we didn't have hot water for showering. Neither was there at the sink nor the kitchen sink. On demand, the sun was quite roughly blamed for it. The next day, then, a faulty boiler was responsible for it. Because the weather was cool and rainy, it was a real disadvantage. But it seemed that this problem had been around for a long time and we simply kept it quiet. No style!!! Equipment else was fine. Unfortunately, there were no laptops or spices in the kitchen corner. Even dead paper. We had to take care of a faulty pear first! The weather was better, we could have enjoyed the beautiful terrace.

Close to the centre

New structure that offers every comfort with daily change of clothes. Each apartment has a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach, located 20 meters. Supermarket and taverns are very close by. The owner and son Eftimi are friendly and kind and meet every request.In Eftimi's pastry shop, on the ground floor you can taste excellent quality Cretan, Greek and international sweets.The location allows you to enjoy relaxation on the beach, as well as cultural and archaeological excursions.

A wonderful vacation.

En Plo is rented behind the portico, in a very quiet area overlooking the sea, easy to reach and with parking, the apartments are comfortable and clean, with a fantastic view of the sea, the friendly and available owners, the only new wifi connection a little overwhelming.

Good accommodation at a good price

Booked En Plo as we know Plakias well and wanted somewhere to stay that was near the sea and the tavernas.  This fit the bill.  When we arrived, the landlady gave us a glass of cold juice, then said that two rooms were available – one was the twin we had booked, up a steep flight of steps, which would have been 150 Euros for 6 nights.  The other on offer was a big double apartment with a four poster bed..... and no stairs.  More expensive, but with great views - so we took it!  It was room 101.  We had a lovely stay, with no complaints as everything was clear and well looked after.  We would stay again as it is very handy for all tavernas and supermarkets - and the sunsets are fantastic.
