We (a family group of 9) just finished our stay at Calma , where we enjoyed very much our stay.
Location: PERFECT - just 150 meters from Plakias main street, however in a very calm surrounding,  we felt even protected from the wind.

Facilities: VERY CONVENIENT, we occupied two apartments and a mini villa. This  allowed us to gather altogether in a private garden. The pool section is very nice as well with plenty of armchairs enough for all guests.
They even have a bar in place open during the day (we had cold beers and cocktails at very fair prices). Grocery and supermarket just few steps from the appartments.

Maintenance and cleaning: SPOTLESS, everything was in very good shape and very clean.

But above all, we enjoyed very much the hospitality , advices and assistance of Artemis, the owner of Calma Appartments, She was very helpfull for all things we needed from organizing transport to recommending restaurants, etc.
 Calma Apartments is one of those places where what you get is really nicer than the pictures you see in the internet. 
I would definitely stay again when visiting Crete again. Thank you Artemis !!!



Greek hospitality at his best

i stayed with two friends and my 6 year old daughter. The owner Artemis could not have been friendlier and more generous. On arrival we had some freshly baked cake and wine in our room as well as some fresh juice for my daughter. So thoughtful!
Our double room was really really big, clean and airy! It was a great surprise for the price we paid. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home and the swimming pool was a dream!
It was my first time visiting Plakias even though I live in Crete and I really loved the place. Lots of great restaurants to choose from and a fabulous gorge to climb! I will be going back and when I do I will certainly stay at Calma again!

wonderful hosts

We had 10-days trip through Crete, booked 4 different places and one of them was Calma Apartments & Studios. Extremely polite and opened staff were there. Also I would like to emphasise how beautiful this hotel is! Accurate houses are located around the pool with a lot of small lounge places and bar. You can try local and very tasty beer there. The room where we staying: it was huge with the big white dining table, make-up table, kitchen with everything for cooking and separate bathroom. It was decorated with the very good taste so thus I wanted to stay there longer. This apartments is closed to many beaches around and famous Preveli beach. Moreover the Plakias village is absolutely amazing for visiting with a lot of bars and tavernas. Definitely recommend this place!

Unforgettable staying!

Great apartment in a central and yet quiet location in the heart of Plakias. Apartment very clean, modern and fully furnished, even washing machine and heating/climate were available. Each room had its own terrace so that you could enjoy the morning and evening sun. The hosts, especially Artemis, were very warm and very trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible so that no wishes remained open. We can definitely recommend it further and thank you very much to the Artemis family on this path!

Super apartment in top location

Lovely modern accomodation with suited for all your needs. In my case thats just a good bathroom and a nice bed. The latter is the most important thing for me and therefore Calma is a 100% hit. Hostess Alison is super kind and relaxed!

Perfect hideaway just off broadway

Home charming and smiling,very nice and spacious room decorated with taste,TV with French channels and radio is rare!!comfortable bed, nice little balcony overlooking a quiet mountain!!parking area, swimming pool and nice bar!!plakias is a very nice city with a human size!!where it makes good living,nearby superb beach, port, restaurants. good starting point for Loutro the gorges of Imbros Preveli damnoni beach very nice if you don't have a car small boat to the port that will take you there I recommend this hotel for several nights,

Calma appartments is located near the mainstreet of Plakias so everthing is on walking distance. But the rooms are quiet and you will not hear any sounds of the bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. In the rooms you will find enough space, table with chairs, closhets, flathscreen television, nice and comfortable bed and a little kitchen. You can sit comfortable outside as well. The bathroom has a great shower! The room will be cleaned every day and the cleaning is good. Outside you will find a lovely swimmingpool, clean as well! There are enough sunbeds. Outside there is also a small bar, here you can get everything you need. There is also a parking place in front of the appartments. Here is enough space and you can park your car for free. Most important the owners of this appartment are very kind and helpfull. You will feel yourself welcome and you can totally enjoy your holiday.

Perfect

It's probably every where like that in Crete but still being welcome by people waiting for you with a nice fresh juice and a home made cake is always a bonus! Our room was quiet and in the city center and this is what we wanted. Walking distance from all night life. We did not use the swimming pool as it was very windy. Wifi was ok. A place I recommend

I've been with my family in these very well-maintained and recent apartments. the ns had 2 bedrooms. the kitchen was quite equipped, hair dryers but above all there is the washing machine! 2 steps from the center great base for excursions. there is also a swimming pool that can be comfortable on windy days. thanks to Elena for her sweetness and her advice

Very pleased

I stayed at this hotel in August and I found myself very well. The room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom was large and new. The staff were very kind and welcomed us with a slice of cake and a refreshing drink. It is a family run hotel and in fact it has a family atmosphere. It has a swimming pool overlooking a bar where you can have a late night drink or breakfast in the morning. Recommended.
