We stayed here for three nights, one in a ‘double sea view’ and two in a ‘deluxe double sea view’. Maybe it’s because we previously stayed in a beautiful boutique hotel a few meters away, but we were really underwhelmed by this place. First, don’t expect a hotel. It’s more like serviced rooms with a skeleton staff, who often are not on site, and with no breakfast or other amenities. The property itself is very average. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbours. The standard double sea view rooms have dingy bathrooms. The deluxe rooms are similar but have been refurbished, so they have much nicer bathrooms (with a great shower), although the room we got felt a bit cramped. It was also poorly designed and the bathroom extractor fan made a clicking noise all night that kept us awake. There’s not a lot of privacy either, since all the sea view rooms face a small garden where people sometimes sit. At half the price, this place would be fine. But it’s way overpriced. You should not expect a luxurious or boutique experience here, you should expect a half-refurbished property with absent management and no attention to detail. On the positive side, the location is good and the receptionist, when we saw her, was nice.

We haven't stayed in the accomodation yet but I wanted to leave a review already to thank this property and Maria who has been so helpful in organising for us to change our dates. We were so sad to cancel our trip but she has made everything so easy.

Covid-19 - the most helpful and kind people!

This was our 5th trip to Milos and Aigialia Rooms. It is our favorite Greek island. Pollonia is a great base for exploring Milos. There is a nice combination of restaurants and shops all in an idyllic Greek Island setting. Aigialia Rooms is wonderful...30 feet from the Aegean, which is perfect for an early morning or last afternoon swim. From the balcony you have a 180 degree view of the ocean and the coast line. At sunset, you walk down to the end of the street (with cocktails in hand!) to enjoy the amazing sunsets. The hotel is nicely designed and the room is large. They recently installed new beds that are so much better than the traditional Greek stiff mattress. The only downside is the bathroom...tiny sink and shower with no place to store your bathroom kits. We were told that the rooms are being upgraded this winter and that will include enlarging the bathrooms. If you are interested in being close to the water with amazing views and easy access to wonderful food and drink, this is an excellent choice.

The Best of Milos!

Beautiful stay, staff that treats you like family. Huge room, clean, only complaint is the bathroom is a little small.  Stunning view on the patio, natural beauty, no touristy gimmicks like in Santorini. A short walk (5-7 min) to Pollonia town (basically one street with waterfront restaurants). I liked Pollonia more than the port, seemed more quaint. One of my favorite islands for sure!

Tranquil & Idyllic Spot

Aigialia hotel is undoubtedly the best place to stay on Milos Island. Perfect location (5 min walk from Pollonia center), hospitable and most helpful hosts, comfortable, quiet  and exceptionally clean rooms. And the most amazing is the view from the balcony. Great place to relax and enjoy the sea which is just 30 meters away from the property. There's no breakfast available but it's not a problem at all - there are some very good restaurants within 5 min walk (Armenaki and Bakery are most recommended). Overall, everything is great about Aigialia, you won't regret staying there.

An absolutely fabulous place on Milos Island 

My husband and I had great 4 night stay at this hotel.  We were looking for a small, family run, quiet place on the water within walking distance to town.   This was the perfect location!    The town of Pollonia has some very good restaurants.  We were able to have cocktail hour while watching the sunset and take a leisurely walk every evening to town for dinner.  It also has a wonderful natural swimming pool where we swam every morning and afternoon.  The staff was very friendly, as well.  I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and value!

What a fantastic place to stay! Friendly hosts, spotlessly clean, beautiful views.....idyllic! We booked to stay for 3 nights as part of our Cycladic Island hopping holiday, and were so pleased that we did. My partner is "super-picky" about everywhere that she stays and even she was IMPRESSED 😮! Our "room" was great, individual wifi, comfy beds, good view (side facing), 2x patios, a good sized wet room, and extremely clean....in fact more like an "apartment", with kettle, fridge, freezer compartment, hob, coffee maker, TV, air-con, and tea and coffee supplies which were 
replenished every day. The Aigialia has its own garden, a secluded "rock" beach with its own sea pools....great for people of all ages. The only down side was that this particular stretch of the Aegean clearly has no fish it as I didn't catch a single thing 🤣!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended. We had a wonderful stay at Aigialia , we must compliment the cleanliness of the room, it was so lovely and clean with fresh towels daily. The view is beautiful and the water is only a few meters away from the room.
