Super friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Good pool, plenty of sunloungers.  Great views good sized balcony.  Comfy beds. Hot showers. Decent Internet. Beautiful gardens. Plenty of parking. Great location , walking distance (flat) to seafront promenade, beach, shops , cafes and restaurants.  Lent us sunbrellas for the beach.  Voidokilia beach 12 minutes drive.

A great place to stay for a few days sightseeing , sea and sand.

Wonderful stay at Thanos Village.  Can't rate it highly enough in terms of location, cleanliness, value for money etc.  Third time to this area, first time to Thanos, but definitely not the last, already excited to book for next year.  Stayed in a spacious studio, plenty of room, excellent modern shower room with probably the best shower we've ever come across in Greece, lovely balcony over looking the swimming pool and of course the breathtaking view of Naravino Bay.  This really is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  The location is excellent for walking down into Gialova where there is a lovely little prom with a dozen restaurants and bars.  Only takes about 5 minutes and it's flat, which is a massive bonus in this area!  The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

A car is necessary when staying in this area, there are lots of nice places to visit but apart from the nearby waterfall, it's too far or too hot to walk.  Pylos is the closest town, with a gorgeous square and harbour, plenty of free parking, about 4 or 5 miles away.   The golf courses at Costa Navarino Hills are absolutely amazingly with the best views anywhere.

We couldn't leave this review without a mention of Giota, the lady that looks after the rooms, she is an absolute ray of sunshine, what a lovely lady, we so enjoyed our little chats every morning.  The owners are on hand and were very accomodating and friendly, firstly when our flight was delayed making us very late to check in and also when we were leaving "Mr Thanos" came and gave us a lovely bottle of his own olive oil to bring home as a momento.
It was a fabulous holiday and an excellent stay at Thanos Village, very highly recommended.

Fabulous stay at Thanos Village

4 of us stayed in the twin rooms. The rooms were amazing value and were absolutely spotless. Our balconies has great views of the pool below us and the sea. If we stayed again we would stay in these rooms as some of the others are a further walk uphill! The Thanos is an easy stroll into Gialova, you can use the sun beds at the Zoe, so it does not matter that you are not directly on the beach.

Excellent value for money and views

Was there again in late Sept/early October. I just love this place and the lovely family that own it - so helpful. I even brought my brother and sister this time. It is very peaceful and has great views over the bay. Ten minutes walk to Gialova and less to the supermarket. The one bed villas and apartmenmts have great facilities and the studios are a good size. Great value for money.

Another peaceful and relaxing stay

Once again, a fabulous, relaxing time at Thanos village.
The view from our balcony was breathtaking, the pools great - and we had them largely to ourselves - and Maria and Thanos as friendly and helpful as ever.
We will be back!

Another great holiday at Thanos village

We had a wonderful, peaceful relaxing stay at Thanos Village in August. We had dreamt about it all through lockdown and it was even better than we'd hoped. Everything from the beautiful sunset views from the huge balcony of our villa to the peaceful swimming pool (which we often had to ourselves) was perfect. We loved sitting in the midst of the olive and lemon groves, having lunch and taking in the unbelievable views. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to walk into Giàlova and you could manage here without a car. There are so many excellent tavernas to choose from in town. We loved exploring the surrounding area, though, and went to Polylimnio waterfalls and Ancient Messini, as well as pootling up the coast to find all the fishing villages and beaches. Maria was so helpful, but also very respectful of social distancing in these bizarre times. The only thing we wished we had was our families to enjoy it with us. What a perfect fortnight of peace. We came home feeling fully restored. 

Perfect stay in paradise

Our 5th return to Thanos Village this summer..... which says a lot!!!! Rooms have everything you need for a great base to explore the pelopenese. The views from the balcony are amazing, perfect spot to watch the sunset. The family and staff around the hotel are very friendly and attentive, they had also taken all the extra precautions to provide a covid safe stay. Another Great Stay!

A big thank you to Maria and everyone at Thanos for making our holiday so enjoyable (again).  Everything was well organised to deal with the strange situation this year; we felt safe from the moment we arrived and soon got down to having a good time.  A lovely clean apartment with great views, in an interesting Greek resort we have been coming back to for many years.  We look forward to returning to Thanos as soon as possible.

Another wonderful summer holiday

Spent a pleasant weekend at Thanos Village. Walking distance to Gialova tavernas, beach, cafes etc. Friendly host and strict Covid cleanliness. Would recommend to families and couples alike. Lovely pool and quiet location.

Lovely weekend

We visited in June and enjoyed it so much I brought my sister back to see. The weather was good considering it was late September and the sea and pool were warm enough to swim in. It was a lot quieter this time but still most places were open. Thanos did not disapoint. The gardens were still beautiful and the views from the balconies wew still amazing. This time we stayed in the Apartments which were great and had everything you need.
