All in all a pleasant stay. The rooms are nice but nothing spectacular with regards to the decoration, but the view from the balcony is amazing. An undistrurbed view of the sea, since the hotel is located accross the street from the sea. The location of the hotel is very good, small walking distance to the center of Pylos and with many tavers to choose from nearby. The hotel also has a big parking space next to it. The breakfast was very good and with a lot to choose from. SInce our stay was in August  of 2020, i was very happily surprised to see how well the breakfast was served taking into account distances and masks. The staff of the hotel gave you what you asked for in your plate meaning that food was not exposed to everyone who came for breakfast. It felt safe to have breakfast there, especially in the outdoor area. The only negative thing was that, since there is a street right in front of the hotel, in some nights we could clearly hear people talking while passing by even quite late in the night. But apart from that we were pleased with everything else and would stay there again.

Pleasant stay, great view from the balcony

We are regular visitors to this area of Greece but first time at Miramare. The town is that extra special as unspoilt by the tourists and what you get is a place where local families get on with their lives. Having coffee in the square and watching the world go by is a must!
The hotel is excellent value for money - not luxurious but clean and very friendly. Super views from balcony and if you like you can swim off small beach or jetty.
We stopped for 4 nights and enjoyed a stroll in evening to local restaurants- not one disappointed as all food freshly prepared and that little bit different.
If you come to the area - do explore the hidden beaches as very often you are the only ones there especially at the end of season.
Thank you to all the staff - who continued to make our stay special especially as this would have been their last few weeks of the season.

Beautiful view - delightful Greek town

I loved Hotel Miramare, so much that I extended my stay in Pylos by 3 nights.  I never do that, preferring normally to move on to a new town every day.  The hotel is set in the heart of the town, right by the waters edge, with the most stunning views - all rooms have sea views.  The hosts were so friendly and the staff equally so.  Excellent continental breakfast.  I had to tear myself away, and although I never normally return to somewhere I would easily break that rule for Hotel Miramare.

The nicest little hotel, right on the seafront, in a quaint seaside town in Navarino Bay, with the friendliest hosts, Elenie, Barbie and Vasillis. There are several good restaurants nearby and many beaches, villages and historical sights in the area.

Miramare, Pylos

Location is great & views over the pretty harbour from our room were fabulous.  The room was a bit small & basic. The beds way to hard.  Bathroom was small & basic.  Reception staff were pleasant & helpful.  Breakfast was your basic plain chain hotel buffet.  A let down after some of the great breakfasts we’ve had at family run hotels recently.  Free parking on the vacant corner block across the road (until the land is developed!) Overall 2 star hotel in a 5 star location.

Hard bed, fabulous location 

Everything was great, from start to finish. The hotel was easy to find. Its location is just perfect, right in the sea-front, close to a big parking and a wide choice of tavernas, and the lovely Plateia, walking distance to Niokastro. Rooms basic but clean, decent size and with everything you need, balconies with a stunning view. Buffet breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. I must say that I was very positively surprised and I hope to come back.

It is a wonderfull location. Breakfast was very good. Miramare is a well-kept hotel, everything is very clean and exceedingly friendly staff. During our stay, only breakfast was available but in the vicinity are a lot of nice restaurants.

Direct hit-again at any time with pleasure

Just returned from fourteen days at the Miramare
First night we arrived after 10.00 pm and found our room poky with a reasonable sea view.
Complained in the morning to the hotel manager (Vaccilis) and in two hours were in the best upper floor room with uninterrupted absolutely stunning views of the harbour and small beach. Vaccilis was an absolute delight, full of information and sincere contrition for placing us in a poor room ( he was away when we arrived) highly recommend this hotel ( 80 euros a night including excellent hot, cold, sweet and savoury breakfast)

Great value breakfasts and sea views to die for!

Absolutely loved this hotel.  Location, beautiful views, very clean, excellent breakfast and very nice and helpful staff.  Will definitely stay there again.

Just Beautiful  - amazing views

As my wife and I wandered around this region of Greece, by car, we decided we would travel without any fixed reservations and would drive and stop where we would enjoy to stay.

As we pulled into Pilos, we were captivated by the lovely and enclosed harbor were people were swimming, eating, playing and simply chilling out.

After parking the car (for free) on the pier, we wandered about town and were immediately drawn towards this well located and positioned hotel that seemingly anchored the town and captured its beauty into the positioning of each room.

As we sat at the tables in the front trying to make reservations on Booking.com, one of the hotel staff approached us and asked if we were interested in staying here because he could offer us a better rate than the internet.  He offered us the keys to some of the available rooms for us to choose from. 

Of course as he promised, the rate of €75 per night was €10 less than the internet and we took it.

What a bargain!  View room with balcony facing the harbor, A/C, fan, breakfast, large bed, wireless, etc, etc.  The waters edge is simply across the street with a beach, free chairs and amazing crystal clear waters.

The breakfast buffet was ok and had all the usual foods.

We stayed only one night as our journey needed us to continue but we will return (absolutely).
