We stay 8 nights this lovely hotel. Very nice hotel with great location. Just few steps from the beautiful beach and just 5 minutes walk from the old town. Amazing breakfast and very friendly stuff❤️ Very clean and quiet, everyting is perfect!

Fantastic place to stay, very good service and the rooms are great. Everything you need outside the door.  Close to the harbour and the old Town, we fell in love with the place. Will for sure be coming back. 

Fantastic place to stay!

Nice and clean hotel with large and  modern rooms.  Freindly  staff and very good location near by the beach. Good breakfast and very clean rooms. The cleaning was every day and the staff had high standards.

This hotel is far from normal 2022 standards. Old fashioned.
Don't order breakfast. Dining area is far to small and the buffet is chaotic. Lot's of dry cakes which tastes awfull. No strawberry jam and you have to make your own juice on an old unsanatary juicer. There is always queue. They wash dishes manually.  Some make breakfast in romme. Then you get the smell of bacon into other rooms, - very early.
One person on the staff is quarreling laud openly while we eat. The day we left she roared at me for wanting to use the toilet we had been instructed by the director to use in the common area. Another person is asking for your room number repeatedly during every breakfast.
There is a lot of noise from rooms on the floor above. When the sun is not shining, there is only lukewarm water. No scandinavian tv channels. The cushions are hard. No sun on the terrace if you face the sun. 
The only positive is location and the beach man Armando.

The hotel is in a very good location and has lovely grounds and views. The beach is great for swimming and the chairs were comfortable. It is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria for helping us out.

We got an upgrade to sea view room which was fab. Overlooking beach and old town 
Old town lovely.  Plentiful choice of restaurants and bars. Lots of people and atmosphere but not full of drunks. Lovely food in each one we chose
All bar none of Greek people we met so friendly and welcoming 
Only rude person we met was a Brit shamefully 
Would definitely recommend for a chilled relaxing break 
Only downside bit too far from airport

Fab place

Great place , small clean and very friendly staff. Located in the middle of new and old town  excellent bars and restaurants. Beach just across the road was good with ilios sun beds and parasols . Towels can be hired for the beach for a small fee . We hired a car from greenways just a short walk from illios , it was very reasonable. If you can get to kourniss lake it’s worth a visit. Clear lake , pedaloes, restaurants, gift shops , and Turtles!!!

Great time

Located very good for exploring the city as well as the rest of Crete. However, the hotel offers nothing special in all other categories. 
There is no hot water after 6pm and the network speed of the wifi is so slow, that even simply browsing the web is very difficult.

Located good, everything else is average or even below average

Location near the both old town and beach couldn't be any better. All the basic services (market, pharmacy, ATM, car rental) can be found within 200m and the beach is literally just across the street.

We had a room with sea view, and it was 100% worth it. Hotel was clean and all the staff super friendly. Breakfast buffet was solid B+ and had all the basics covered. Not the best I've seen, but good enough. Room was also equipped with basic kitchen utilities to make your own breakfast and there's multiple cafe's nearby.

Beds were ok (not too firm or soft), but pillows were way too high and I could've used proper blanket istead of just sheets. Not sure if different sized pillows and better blankets would've been available on request.

Hotel's own free sunbeds at the beach were a great bonus, and you were also able to order drinks and snacks on the room tab there. Beach is mostly soft sand and it's quite shallow, but waves can be high, depending on wind conditions. Pool area is small and half of it is in shade all times, but we didn't have any trouble getting suitable sunbeds (sun or shade) when needed. Hotel is advertised with age limit 16, but there were few kids at the pool (looked locals) on some days. Didn't bother us, but don't expect 100% "adults only" experience.

Overall: Great value for money!

Perfect location, friendly staff

Nice and clean rooms. We we’re happy. Staff (everyone - including those on the beach and cleaners) we’re very friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful seaview. Location is perfect! And still - at least on the upper floors - it’s quiet. One should consider making breakfast on the room, because there is all equipment needed.
