We strongly recommend that you stay in the villa of Herolacos. The cozy eco-style houses are equipped with everything you need to stay comfortably. They are great for couples or families with children to relax. The fireplace, the washing machine, the barbecue. Each of the three houses has its own swimming pool, so guests do not interfere with each other. The beautiful olive garden. There is a minimum bar, although it is about a kilometer to the sea. The car is welcome.

A great villa on Crete.

5 nights of booking a villa (with swimming pool) in this dream place, in absolute calm, drowned in greenery and flowers, a few minutes from the main road through the island. Everything was perfect. An authentic house in its smallest details and impeccably maintained. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. Thank you to Leftaris for his warm welcome and attention.

A dream stay

We have already visited for the third time and have once again enjoyed a super relaxing holiday. Whether it is at the house pool or on the beach of Rethymnon, taking a detour to shop to Rethymnon or hiking in the mountains, all within easy reach. The houses are quietly surrounded by beautiful trees and are equipped with everything you need. The attached photo shows the view from the balcony of the house of Filia over the olive grove to the sea.

A wonderful place.

We spent a wonderful 18 days in this nice and beautifully located accommodation in August. The entrance was a very warm welcome from Lefteris with melon, raki. Olive oil and many helpful tips and recommendations (e.g. even the starry night we would have missed otherwise, the night sky offers a lot). We (and our son) especially enjoyed the pool on hot days, the figs and plums of the surrounding trees, fresh basil, pears. You can spend the days in splendid tranquility, but you can also explore Crete in all directions wonderfully, excellent location. We felt comfortable around and found a very nice host in Lefeteis. Absolutely recommend us!!

A gloriously refreshing holiday

A friend and I stayed a week in May a number of  years ago.I only put May 2017 because it would not let me date further back.  It was a wonderful feeling of living in a little stone Greek house in the country( with a distant sea view and private swimming pool).  Lefteris was a charming host and we enjoyed fresh vegetables, their own olive oil, and flowers.  We felt that we were valued guests.  We traveled about enjoying the offerings of Crete but were always happy to return "home" to our villa.

Really experience Crete

Since 2007, we have been returning to this beautiful place all the time. We love the seclusion and enjoy the tranquility here. Each of the three villas has its own garden with a pool. Here it is wonderful to relax and turn off. The facilities leave virtually no wishes open, it is cozy, spacious and you have a beautiful view of the olive trees and the sea. We often walk to nearby taverns, to the sea or to the supermarket. Lefteris and Maria are always helpful, extremely hospitable and lovable. We look forward to seeing you again.

A wonderful place to relax

an amazing place! my now wife Sally and I were in turmoil... trying to get our wedding plans to work... we were saved by our host Lefteris Ploutinakis... he even grabbed by force I assume one of his friends to be a witness as we were 1 short :)
The place is beautiful! surrounded by a wonderful garden and olive trees..  very clean and the pool was private... views... close to town and beaches... I would give it 10 stars if they let me. since our wedding... we came back on our first anniversary and still feel the same... Thank you Lefteris!!!!
