So I’ve left a 5 star review because this place is the friendliest and most welcoming I’ve ever stayed in, the location is perfect and  Vangelis and family are the loveliest of people. I braved coming here solo and I could not have picked a better place. The only downside is that my room was very very basic and dated  (very clean though), I can manage with basic but it was quite dark and the bed was uncomfortable and because I’m on my own   i wanted  a balcony with a nice view, which  I asked for but didn’t get (that’s just my personal preference) however I know that if another room was available Vangelis would have let me change rooms, unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked and I can totally understand why,  people come back here year after year. I think I was just unlikely to have had one of the rooms that hasn’t been updated. Despite my dislike of my room I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

Little Gem

We booked to stay here based on previous reviews. The family running this place are just beautiful.  Vangelis has his place at the bar and I must say works so incredibly hard to make everyone have an amazing visit. So many returning visitors is a great testament to how people feel about this place. We did a few day trips booked at the tourist office a few minutes walk away. Lovely trips and great organisation.  Some fabulous restaurants within a few minutes walk, 1912 newly opened is not to be missed. Don't hesitate to book to stay here. Amazing

Just Amazing

This is in a perfect location, just set back from the main strip in Pefkos, so very handy for the shops, bars and restaurants yet set back far enough to not be noisy on an evening/night.  It’s only a short 5-10 minute walk to St Thomas’ Beach (highly recommended), but also not far to the main Lee Beach or to Plakia Beach.  

The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and a good sized swimming pool, with a bar serving meals and drinks.  Vangelis and his family were lovely – so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome.  

Our room was quite small and rather old fashioned, but we expected a basic room, given the very reasonable price that we’d paid.  The cleaners were great, as the room was cleaned 6 days a week and the sheets and towels changed regularly.  

The only downside was the cutlery in the apartment.  We ate out during the holiday, so weren’t looking to use the kitchen to any extent, but it was disappointing that we didn’t have a sharp knife for preparing fresh fruit, and some of the cutlery was rusty and unusable.  This was only a minor inconvenience though.

Overall we had a great holiday, and would definitely return  to Chrysanthi if we come back to Pefkos.  

Friendly and Great Location

Stayed here for 5 nights .could happily have stayed longer. 
Had a lovely welcome and a room upgrade. 
Everything you need in the room.
If you don't want to cater, there is food served on site.
Lovely pool and very central.  No noise which shocked me.
All in all would definitely go bk.


Excellent stay

Such a lovely place and the family were so friendly did not feel like customers you felt like family couldn’t do enough for you in great location got massive strip of restaurants and 3 beaches within a 10 minute walk would definitely recommend and definitely will be back. Vangelis was so funny 

Lovely place

We simply had the best time! Everyone at the chrysanthi made our holiday so special , each morning yannis would pass us on our terrace with his huge smile saying kalimera also maria always asking if we were ok, vangelis what can I say just a true gent who is so good at what he does along with rina always smiling and welcoming, we have been to Rhodes a few times but the chrysanthi is head and shoulders above the rest for quality and family, we loved the food and wish we had taken more meals there but were out trying restaurants but next time we know! this place is a true gem and cannot recommend it enough we cried dragging our cases to the transfer bus efcharisto to you all we loved it x

Just perfect

Vangeli and family looked after us amazingly well. We had 2 flight cancellations and they were able to find a room for us. The three rooms were all clean and comfortable. Our original ground floor studio was tight but perfect for our needs. Our 1st floor studio had a great view and slightly more room and our two bedroom apartment was huge and very private. Nice pool area, good food, excellent service, amazing barbecue night. I HIGHLY recommend. 

Family run and very friendly

I could write pages about this place but I'll keep it short as possible. 
We love the Greek Islands and always go self-catering as the all-inclusive thing really isn't for us.
Finally.. after a long wait and two date changes, we were able to spend the first two weeks in August at Chrysanthi. 
We were in Pefkos for the first time, unlike almost everyone else we met who were in double figures and understandably so.
The Chrysanthi was right up our street, from the moment we were welcomed at 2am to the moment we left with fond goodbyes a fortnight later. 
We cannot stress how nice the family who run this place are. Vangelis and Rina are true hosts, along with everyone else who strive to make your holiday everything you want it to be.
Rooms are basic and clean, typical of this type of holiday. Our cleaners never had a day off in two weeks. Water pressure was a bit erratic at times but didn't bother us.
We met some great people, who like us were just glad to be on unrestricted holidays again. 
After a recent period of heavy stress for both of us, this holiday was exactly what we needed and it certainly left an impression on us.
Like everyone else who returns to Chrysanthi year on year, we'll most certainly return!

Very chilled....finally!

The first time we stayed at these apartment was over 30 years ago. Our return to this accommodation was because there were a large number of travellers all going at the same time and they could accommodate us. We all had a brilliant holiday and this was partly thanks to Vangelis, Rena and the family. The room we had was on the ground floor close to the pool.  The pool and communal areas were well maintained and clean. The food served at the pool bar was delicious. The BBQ on Friday evening could not be beaten for valid - €15 per adult. Children were €10 but we did not have to pay for our 2 year old grandson even though they had put in chicken nuggets for him.
We will definitely return to Pefkos and to this accommodation. One of our friends who stayed at another accommodation booked a cheeky week for September while we were there because the family were just so good. Thanks guys for helping us have an amazing holiday.

Amazing Hosts

Where to start with this gem of a place. No wonder people visit year after year. Starting with pool and bar area. This is so clean with plenty of beds and a good sized pool which is always clean. The poolside bar sells beautiful food and the portion sizes are amazing. The special breakfast is a must for anyone visiting. On to the rooms and we stayed in a studio which was a decent size for the 2 of us but the biggest positive was that the rooms were cleaned every day. 
The family running this little gem are amazing people and constantly kept checking if we were having a nice holiday and couldn’t do enough for us. Amazing holiday and would return in a heartbeat
