Petrino 

I was recommended this lovely boutique hotel by a friend and it certainly exceeded my expectations. My friend and I stayed only one night but wished we were staying longer. It is centrally located within the cobbled streets of Rhodes old town yet is very quiet. The hotel proprietor will arrange for a complementary electric car to bring guests from the gate of the old town to the Petrino. (Conventional taxis and cars are banned.) Our split level apartment on the second floor was fully equipped with everything we might need and very clean and comfortable. It was tastefully furnished. There was a large balcony overlooking the rooftops of the old town. Restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Nicos, the proprietor and Blaire, the housekeeper were wonderful and attentive hosts. Breakfast was included and it was an absolute delight! It was served in the secluded courtyard with beautiful flowering plants. I cannot recommend the Petrino highly enough and if ever I return I will certainly stay here again. On checking out an electric car took us and our bags back to outside the walls from where it was a very short walk to Kalona port from where we caught a ferry to Symi.
