Stayed here recently with family and enjoyed it. The hotel is small and clean, right outside Pythogoreio. This is not a luxury hotel and that was great with us. The room was clean all over and well maintained. There was a double bed and a couch and kitchenette. We had downstairs so we didn't have the view, but we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs. We didn't need the view, which a family member said was fabulous from their room. 
The pool was clean and not over crowded at any point. There were plenty of chairs. The hotel is not set up for music parties or other silliness so noise was not an issue at any point and the windows effectively sealed out the noise. The A/C worked well. Breakfast is not included which gave us options, that we liked. We did try it and found it delightful. The beach is a drive away so you'll need a car if you stay here. The small staff was extremely nice and helpful and the owners were both welcoming and as talkative as you'd want. We had a good time and we'd stay here again.
If there was a small issue it was that the curtains do not really block out the morning light the comes pouring in through the East-facing windows. It was less of a problem on the ground floor where the plants provide some cover.

Good at what it does

The owners and staff are so friendly & helpful. The hotel is so clean and has an excellent view. It takes 5 minutes by car to reach the Pythagorion port area. There’s a small kitchen with refrigerator, cooker and filtered coffee machine in the room. If you expect just a clean, simple hotel close to central town, we highly recommend.

Clean and nice hotel 

We were delighted to stay at the Anthemoessa villas for a week.
We found the owners Giannis & Dimitra very helpful and hospitable hosts. Also, the rest of the team working there went out of their way to help us, especially Maria who served us a good healthy breakfast each morning at the poolside with a beautiful smile. Her English was extremely good too! 
The apartment we stayed in (No. 2)was well equipped with basic cooking facilities. Clean white walls with a beautiful seaside canvas painted by Giannis I believe, and good quality bed linen. The bed however, could have been a bit more comfy in my opinion,but we managed to have a decent nights sleep though. 
The pool is a descent size and lovely and clean. Lucky for us we had it to ourselves much of the time too! 
We had a beautiful sea view with the Mycale mountain in the distant - stunning!
The walk into Pythogoria town was far too long for us in the heat, but taxis are easy and efficient called from the hotel and within 5 mins you're there in town. Such a lovely place too for bars, tavernas and people watching. Shops are good and cheap enough for local produce too.
The beach nearest to The Anthemossea is Kilcarisa beach and costs only 2.50 Euros for a sunbed. A lot of locals use this beach and the water is safe and warm when we were there in September. 
Alll in all if relaxation is your thing then this is the place to stay, not much going on nearby unless you do venture into town, but well and truly worth it!

Beautiful apartment with stunning sea views!

The room is spacious, clean and well furnished, with a cooking corner and a small living room. From the balcony you can see the sea during the day and in the evening the atmosphere of the beautiful illuminated garden, make the place romantic and very relaxing. The owners were exquisite, immediately put me at ease and extremely kind and available to provide support. It is also close to Pythagorean, about 1.5 km away, easily reachable from the main road. I recommend to everyone to stay in this wonderful place!

We spent 15 days in this establishment. We recommend it for: - the hospitality and kindness of the owners. They took the time to explain the activities to do on the island, all while offering you a drink by the pool. The staff (2 ladies) are also efficient and discreet. - the calm. - the ideal location just above Phytagorio. On the other hand, a car is essential even to get to the port. We were hesitant with the KERVILLI HOTEL which is much more luxurious but excentric and with a difficult road.

Simple, family friendly and calm

We stayed at this facility for a week just after February. We arrived at 9.30am and the owner and his mistress welcomed us and offered us something to drink immediately. After a while they even had us choose the room we preferred between 2 available and had us check in before the declared time (at 14.00) so as not to waste precious time for the ns holiday. The change of clothes was done every 2 days and the room was always clean. The owner gave us some indications on places to visit. The breakfast, including the price of the living room, is not much and would, in my opinion, be improved.

It's a good compromise.

We were in Samos last week and we stayed in Anthemoessa Villas; this hotel is really wonderful and the owners, Giannis & Dimitra, are extremely kind and nice.
The villas are very comfortable, there is a very nice swimmnig-pool and the morning breakfast is very good.
Everything was fine there....it was really a pity to come back home !!!!

OUR VACATION IN SAMOS ISLAND

To get to this hotel, you will need a vehicle or a taxi from the port of Pythagorion. So we have a car, and I recommend you get one, because this hotel is a little far from the centre of Pythagorion. No means of locomotion, do your shopping, go eat... you will have to walk a little bit. There is a small parking lot. Friendly home. We French. The room is on the ground floor, facing the sea with a small garden. So we have a car, with some air conditioning, refrigerator, safe for values... But it is dark. The beds are small. Wi-Fi was subtle, generally not functional inside but a little bit: a small terrace, not functional outside, with very little business left behind. There was a nice dining room in the house, and there was a nice dining room in the hotel, which was located on the north side of the hotel.

Any of these

First there's the warm home of the owners and then the beautifully maintained garden setting with a beautiful swimming pool. We had a very spacious sea view room that was very clean and well equipped.

This is an interesting address.

We spent a wonderful two weeks in the Anthemoessa. The room (upstairs, with a large balcony) offered a beautiful view of the eggs. The hosts are very friendly, give really good and useful tips and are always there when you need something. Breakfast is always fresh and when you have an extra lunch, this one is also filled. Without a doubt. The hotel has a lot of charm and is absolutely recommended! It is located a little further away (which was a must for us). But right down the street there is a motorcycle, quad & car rental, very convenient minutes and fair prices. We had all the guests rented over a quad, absolutely recommended if you want to visit the wonderful island of Genoa and we hope you can go to the nearby Pythagorean Islands and explore it again:)
