Having spent several days in Notis Hotel, located on the charming island of Samos, I was impressed by the unique level of hospitality and scrupulous attention to detail by Stamatia and her family in this charming business. The studio apartment was a clean and cozy haven, the interior was very clean, and the everyday amenities—smelling of flowers sheets and towels—came as a nice surprise. Combined with the tranquility assured by soundproof doors and windows, this may be termed assurance for a night's sleep laden with comfort. It is a home set amidst alluring jasmine trees and flowers. The small but functional kitchen or the balcony was inviting and serene, it was all true to what Notis Hotel was all about Greek hospitality. It is a place I would look forward to coming back to on my next visit to Samos.

Nice and clean room

The hostess is very kind and responsive (even by e-mail). When I arrived at the apartment I was to early, nevertheless the hostess let me check in with a smile. She even carried my suitcase up the stairs with a smile. 

Once inside the appartment I was pleasantly suprised by the cleanness. Even the fridge was spot on clean. And there was a cold bottle of water waiting for me in it.

Everyday you get fresh sheets and towels (they even smell like flowers). The accommodation did think about all the little things, such as a toothbrush kit, a tiny laundry rack and dishwasher soap (including a sponge). I stayed in the studio with the airconditioning and I  have never ever come across such a tiny neat and clean place. The bed is very comfortable and the studio is spacious enough to do yoga in the morning. 

I would definitely recommend this place.

Neat, clean and better than expected

I arrived in Samos ill and exhausted from my previous journey.I just wanted to get back home and Samos was the departure point towards that goal.I didnt even have the energy to look for an hotel and my daughter found one for me just because it shares the same name as me.Hotel NOTIS.That alone was good for a laugh .When you come out of the ferry in Vathi- Samos port  -- all you got to do is drive North Bound along the water front , and just past the city's hospital, is this little charming hotel , absolutely drowning in Jasmin trees and flowers.The room i was given was not big, but i dont need big rooms and this was big enough.It had an amazingly comfortable bed with double giant pillows , plugs and outlets everywhere for me to charge all my equipement  and then a kitchen area with a table and a absolutelly lovely small terrace to my self.There's no view as such to write home about, but what matters is that i had a lovely -albeit short- stay.What caught my eye instantly , is the amount of attention to detail the owners have given to everything.There's not a paint line out of place , not a scratch  not a stain , not a chipped tile .Nothing.Everything is immaculate.Terrace doors and windows are sound proof so theres no noise from the road that passes right in front of the small hotel.More than anything i will remember the owners kindness.The young woman running the place was more than attentive and kind.Cannot forget that on the night of my arrival , she waited up for me at 02.30 A.M, though she was ill and on medication.Talk about hospitality!!If i ever go back to Samos--and i should- i will stay in NOTIS hotel again.

An un-expected pleasure.

Notis Hotel has been run by Stamatia and her family for many years, and you can tell. Although just a handful of small rooms, Notis seems to have worked out all the kinks. The staff are friendly and polite, the rooms are clean and stocked with everything you need, and there’s very little noise pollution from the street or adjoining rooms. Best of all, Stamatia is the most generous host I’ve encountered; always quick to answer questions and go out of her way to make sure you’re happy and settled. 

Needless to say, I highly recommend you stay here for your visit to Samos. You won’t find a better value for your money!

Details Matter at Notis Hotel

Spacious, bright, very calm, nicely decorated and super clean studio with balcony. Comfortable bed and good shower, convenient kitchenette and dining area, excellent wifi connection. Well located right next to Samos hospital in the street being the sea, about 5 minutes walk to beaches and 10 min to Vathy city center. There is a convenience store just 2 min away. Free bus to town. What makes the place so special is the kindness of Stamatia, the young owner. She is particularly attentive to her guests and super helpful. Thanks to her and her big heart, I had a great time in Samos. I totally recommend this hotel.

Charming family run hotel with the best service

My husband and I stayed at Notis Hotel twice on our way to and from Mykonos. This little hotel feels like home - very clean, quite spacious rooms that have everything you need, including a tiny kitchen! Cosy balconies open up to nice views and the lovely garden. But what sets this hotel from others even further is the warm welcome and level of service all around - the lady (and her family) that owns the hotel went above and beyond to help us with our needs (checking us in with a smile at 4.30 am was one of them!). Thank you for making our stay in Samos very comfortable and stress-free!

A little gem of a hotel in Samos!

I spent three nights at the Notis. I wish it had been way longer. It is located about 10 min slightly uphill walk from the downtown square. Near the hospital. Quiet area and not much traffic. Great location.  

The rooms are nice size, comfy beds and a balcony.  Very clean and comfortable in every way. Small kitchen but just the right size.  Towels are soft and pure white.  

Stamatia(owner) was beyond gracious and accommodating.  Friendly and very helpful. When I left she gave me a wonderful tea and soap- both beautifully presented.

I have been in Greece almost 4 months this year and this is by far the best place I have stayed.  I am definitely coming back but for a longer time.  

Charming and perfect in everyway

me and my bf were there during the quiet down-time for tourist, around the month of april 2018. We were welcomed warmly by the host- Stamatia, she was very warm n welcoming. One day staying in this warm n cozy hotel and strolling leisurely around the island made us realised how underrated this island Samos is! the hotel is really clean and easily accessible to town, just a short walk... and the host really took time out and effort to make us feel welcomed and comfortable :)
