We loved everything about the hotel and we had a great holiday, but I too had an issue with my brand new Michael Kors sunglasses going missing,
We moved rooms on the second day and I checked every drawer to make sure they were empty before we moved.
The glasses case is very big so can’t really miss them in a drawer.
We went back down to the room a couple of hours later as my husband had left his umbrella and the room had already been cleaned by the cleaner.
The cleaner would have definitely noticed them if they had fallen on the floor as it had just been washed.
I asked the owner if they had found them, but she said no and didn’t really seem too bothered.
My husband said forget about it as it would spoil our holiday, so I did.
It’s only because of the review below that I am mentioning it.
Don’t get me wrong we had a great time, but it was a mystery especially as the cleaner hadn’t found them.

Great hotel and very clean with a lovely continental breakfast. Relaxing pool area and exceptional clean.

The experience of the hotel was fine overall, okay breakfast, okay room, okay pool area and nice staff. What isn’t okay though is that stuff went missing. I noticed two completely random things from my makeup bag was missing that I know for a fact I had in there, but I thought oh well I must have lost them somewhere in the room. Then I realized that my pink button up shirt was gone. Me and my friend searched the whole room without finding it, and that’s where it gets very weird for me. We asked the reception if someone might have accidentally taken it along with the towels but got a no as an answer. Our first night in the hotel we also woke up early in the morning by someone coming in to our room and then quickly leaving again. Overall the experience felt weird and I wouldn’t really recommend coming here.

Choose another hotel!

we stayed here this month and at first it was great then it turned into a controlling hotel from my experience.
1) you are only allowed to consume food and drink that you buy from them around the pool
b) except they don't sell snacks crisps etc.
2)we was given a large beer glass to use whilst we was staying so we kept it in our freezer section to keep drinks cold
two days later it went missing from our freezer.
i asked the owner had they taken it out of our fridge YES they replied its ours,
even tho the barman said it was ok.
i explained they had no right to go through our room and fridge etc and that they should have asked,
They could not see the invasion of privacy.
3)The breakfast is cold only NO TOAST OR BACON HASH BROWNS ETC.
you can have left over pizza, beetroot and cakes tho. lol
we ended up using a cafe for a full english breakfast. £24 for the both of us
4)we went to order a pizza 19.50 to eat on our balcony as there menu says they are open until 21.30.
the barman said he wasn't going to cook whether he couldn't be bothered or because we stopped going around the pool spending money who knows 
Although he was still serving drinks and cooking hot food the next day so the appliances were working fine!!

Our Experience Artemis Hotel

Traditional hotel run by 2 sisters. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach and strip of restaurants and bars. The hotel is bed and breakfast and the pool is lovely and is so relaxing and quiet. Breakfast is continental and really nice food. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the 2 sisters are so friendly and helpful.  Would recommend this. We stayed in a triple standard room.

Wonderful traditional Greek Hotel.

A lovely quaint Greek hotel in a peaceful setting but only a short walk from beaches, shops and restaurants. The two sisters who run the hotel were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. One kindly booked us reduced rate taxis and we were allowed to keep on our room on the last day, which was much appreciated! The place was spotless, with clean towels every day. Always room by the pool and a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend this as a relaxing spot for couples.

Relaxing holiday

We were relocated to this hotel but our stay was amazing. The staff are so friendly, pool area was perfect and the breakfast was great! We would definitely stay here again! The showers were small but that didn’t really bother us. We had a late flight home and they allowed us to stay in the pool and provided towels to shower before we left. Honestly couldn’t fault this hotel!

Perfect stay!

Spotlessly clean hotel run by 2 delightful sisters who were very welcoming & always available to ensure smooth running. Maid service every day with clean towels, very comfortable large bed & great pillows, quiet air con, excellent WiFi, fridge & safe with key. The extra we paid for a sea view from room 54 was well worth it for sun rise, moon light & view of Anafi island. Tip - boat goes on Saturday mornings from Athinos port to Anafi & it was like stepping back in time, lovely village to climb up to & golden sand perfect beach. Hotel is handy for the bus station & beach, restaurants only 7 mins walk away. Rooms are rather small but adequate, table provided immediately for balcony when requested. Shower was a bit small but we managed.  Lovely breakfast, we liked the outside tables with pool & sea view. I would recommend this hotel.

Friendly Family Run Hotel

We had a fantastic stay here for 2 weeks.It is a family run hotel, 2 sisters, who made us feel so welcome it was like staying in there home.
It’s 5 minutes from the beach and the fabulous restaurant and bars, you couldn’t be better placed if you tried. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Artemis for the traveller wanting an authentic Greek family run hotel , with hospitality second to none.

Little Gem 

The hotel is basic but exceptionally clean and very welcoming. It is a family run hotel and one of the two sisters are always around should you need anything. They offer a good breakfast between 8 and 10am which sets you up nicely for the day ahead. 

Honeymoon 

Spotlessly clean and lovely staff. Breakfast was included and very nice. Rooms were a bit basic but very clean. Nice pool with sunbeds and a pleasant terrace for a late nightcap. We enjoyed it there, highly recommended :-)
