What a fabulous small family run hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious as are the bathrooms and the pool area although small is great after a morning exploring Kamari. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport and although it is under the flight path as is all of Kamari  , it isn't a problem. The best thing about this hotel is the atmosphere. It is a family run hotel, all guest are welcomed and the bar which stays open until very late on some days is always a lively place to mix and chat with fellow guests. There are several repeat guests, some, who have been staying at this hotel for 30 years which says it all.  Eleni's husband Giannis runs a taxi business and took us to Fira and gave us great advice as to where to eat etc... 
It was a lovely holiday in a lovely hotel and we will definitely  be back. Santorini is a beautiful island and the Greek are a very welcoming people.

Brilliant!

Where do I start? If you want to stay in a typical family-run Greek hotel, this is the hotel for you. We arrived early hours of the morning as our plane was delayed. The owner, Eleni and her brother Billy helped us with our cases into the hotel. Eleni went out of her way to make us food and gave us drinks. Nothing is too much for them. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Cleaned everyday by lovely cleaners. The shower is powerful and one of the best we have ever had in Greece! The pool area is spotless and very relaxing. The prices at the bar were very reasonable, cheaper than a lot of the bars along the beach. Eleni’s lovely mum Georgia was always at the bar early of a morning. Always made me and my wife great espressos. Eleni’s husband Yanus took us to the ferry port and to Oia.  Another lovely member of the family. The family are always willing to help you plan your holiday. All in all a perfect stay, pure bliss and hopefully we will be back again.

A lovely hotel. Owners are vey welcoming. Not far from the  resort. The bar serves meals and the breakfast is good. 

Brilliant hotel

Another amazing holiday at this beautiful hotel… 2 weeks of pure relaxation. Nothing is too much trouble for Eleni and her lovely family… everywhere is spotless from rooms, to the reception area, and all around the pool area.

Relaxing, 2 weeks of pure bliss

My husband and I have been staying with Eleni and Georgia twice a year for the last 8 years. The property is stunning and very well kept. We feel like we are visiting family, it's like going home. The location for us is perfect, being only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the strip of bars and restaurants. We will be there again in August and just can't wait!

hotel is in the number one location, right next to many bars and restaurants, also very close to bus stops. Staff are very friendly, lovely family run hotel. Very accommodating, they met us outside the hotel at 2am to welcome us with smiles :)

5 STARS PERFECT LOCATION AND FRIENDLY STAFF

We have not long returned from our third trip to the Kafouros and can definitely say it won’t be our last! Eleni and the whole family are amazing and look after you so well, nothing is too much trouble. You can’t go wrong by booking a holiday here as you’ll get bitten by the Kafouros bug and will need to return each year!!  As it’s a family run hotel it feels more personal here and  everyone is so friendly. Kamari is such a great laid back resort with plenty of fabulous restaurants, if you go out travelling for the day you can’t wait to get back as feels like home.

Beautiful Kafouros Hotel - our second home!

Just returned from this beautiful family run hotel, lovely warm welcome by Eleni and family. This hotel was only booked a week before travel but ticked all the boxes, friendly, welcoming, modern rooms and bathrooms. A real gem, so handy for the beach, bars and many restaurants Kamari has to offer. We will definitely return!.

Great Holiday at the lovely Hotel Kafouros

Kafouros Hotel has captured our hearts. This was our first and definitely not our last stay. Eleni and her family could not be more welcoming or helpful. Every facility was lovely and clean which made it a stress free place to stay. Thank you ❤️

The place to be for the most relaxing holiday you will ever have. Simply stunning!

Our fifth visit to the lovely Kafouros. Eleni, Georgia, Billy and the rest of the family are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. 
Our room (13) which was on the first floor had a lovely view of the pool area. It was spacious, very clean, thanks to the two hardworking housekeepers and had everything that we needed as we don't really cater for ourselves whilst on holiday.
We had breakfast cooked by Georgia most days in the outdoor eating area and there is a good choice of other tasty snacks and salads available all day at a reasonable price. There is plenty of choice of drinks at the poolside bar  from beer, spirits and fabulous cocktails again at a reasonable price and the vanilla milkshake was to die for in the hot afternoon sun. We also spent quite a few nights at the poolside bar after being out for food along the promenade earlier in the evening and had a lot of fun with Eleni, returning guests that we had met before and new guests.
There are so many fabulous restaurants to choose from just a five minute walk from the hotel along the promenade and two supermarkets near to the hotel.
Fira, Oia are easily accessible by bus and Perissa also by a taxi boat at the mountain side of Kamari. 
Eleni is so helpful and can arrange day trips for you and private transfers to and from the airport and around the island.
All in all we had a fabulous 11 night stay at Kafouros once again this year and can't wait to see you all again next year 🤞.
