Despite all the pictures of this hotel,  including the ones of the pool   there is NO POOL!
The best I can say is the rooms are clean.  Breakfast is minimal to put it mildly!  It lends a whole new meaning to continental breakfast!  Warm orange juice,  2 pieces of bread, yoghurt,  boiked egg and a banana.  If you're lucky they put on a breakfast bar as well!  Music playing only for the amusement of the host. Raised voices at night time from the host and his wife. I suggest ear plugs! Down a bumpy track my taxi didn't want to go down.  I have cut short my visit and moved to another hotel. 

There is no pool!

This is the second time that i stayed in that hotel and it will be a third one!
A lovely hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Santorini was crowded. 
The sea was lovely and the Sun perfect as always!

There is no pool no matter how many pictures you see of it. We had three rooms before we got one that was reasonable.  Hotel manager extremely rude and unhelpful.  The rooms are basic which is fine but the first two rooms had nothing that worked properly (TV, fridge, air conditioning and even toilet in one of them).  Only positive comment I can give is that it was clean and close to the beach

Don't go

Ok - first impression wasn't great. The dirt track that the taxi driver won't attempt to go up to drop you; spartan facilities (not much storage or hangers); basic amenities like a fridge/air-con and warm showers (evening only, presumably solar-heated?) - and nowhere to hang your beach stuff to dry without making the communal areas look messy....but it was clean - in fact, spotless every day. Breakfast was minimal, and could have benefitted from some fruit - seeing as most of the clientel were adults...thus not very interested in chocolate cereal. The yoghurt was LOVELY though! Bottom line is that Santorini is expensive wherever you stay. These tourist-orinted businesses have to make as much as possible in the limited season for the remainder of the year - thus this 'budget experience' took a bit of getting used to, but we had a few crazy nights drinking and swapping stories with Marios (for whatever reason he 'liked' us - although not everyone was that lucky)! This seemed to make all the difference, after all - a room is just for sleeping in really, and I can honestly say we made a new friend, who helped make our holiday more enjoyable!

Extra Points for Our New Friend Marios!

Arrived for a short weekend (wedding) and approached the hotel via a littered and filthy alley. Approached the hotel and decided to have a look around the outside first, very tired looking and in places very dirty. The outside furniture was dirty and needed replacing. The resort is also very basic and looks unkempt. After 10 minutes I had seen enough and decided not to check in - life is too short to put up with this standard of hotel or resort so I caught a ferry to Kamari and booked into a hotel there.

Not for me...

Firstly, I’ll start with the pros of this hotel: 
There’s air con and a fridge in the rooms. The wardrobes have hanging space. 
WiFi can be reached downstairs and each room has its own outdoor space. 
The hotel was very pretty and traditionally Greek. The hotel was also close to the shops, buses and the beach. 
Breakfast was okay, selection of cereals, cake, juices and bread. 
Shampoo was provided and rooms seemed to be cleaned every other day. 

However, when I arrived at the hotel past 2pm (the check in time) nobody was there. I had to call the owner, for him to ring a Greek lady who showed me to my room, she did not speak a word of English.  The hotel did not have a pool, even though on booking.com they use pictures of the pool it once had. This is extremely misleading. Love Holidays state that they have no pool right at the end of its description, although they list an ‘outdoor pool’ in the hotels facilities. 
Hotel is extremely noisy most of the time, playing loud music, constant loud voices and children running around up until 11pm at night. Loud music was also played early on Sunday morning which woke me up, Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. 
I also found the owner of the hotel quite rude. The bar also isn’t even a proper bar. 

The first room I was put in where I spent the majority of my holiday, was full of problems: 
The sheets were stained and the pillows were lumpy. There are signs up all over the rooms saying how much you will be charged for stained sheets, when they are put on the bed stained. The blanket also had semen stains. Mattress was hard. 
The lock is my room was extremely difficult to lock and unlock, this is extremely dangerous and is a fire hazard. 
Fixtures were hanging off the walls and the only useable plug was a metre off the ground, making it very difficult to charge your phone. 
The bathroom was incredibly small and rusty. You actually had to sit on the toilet diagonally to avoid your legs touching the wall. 
Some of the draws in the room also did not open, so were not useable. 

I will say that I was given a free upgrade for my remaining two nights to a much nicer room. This room had much more space, a balcony and was generally nicer and cleaner, with also less noise. However, one of the nights the air con remote had been removed, so I only had air con on my last day/night. I am still unsure as to why I was given an upgrade, something makes me think he wanted me out of the room next to the reception. Based on my overall experience, I wouldn’t be able to score higher than 2/5, however, had I been put in the second room originally I would have scored higher.

Wouldn’t come back.

Do not stay at Amelie Hotel Perissa Santorini. Accommodation is less than average. Mario’s at reception is rude and not welcoming at all. Advertised as having a pool but no pool on site and when asked at reception he promptly said no who I booked it with are liars however a pool is advertised on all booking sites I visited. Rooms smell mouldy and a very basic with tv not working and wifi very poor

You will be met at the reception by a smirking Mario who will criticise your travel agent for booking you an economy room. He will then show you to the smallest, most cramped unpleasant room available, probably the one adjoining reception, and tell you that this is what you have booked. He will then show you one or two alternative rooms, which will will look so much better than the first and offer to upgrade you for €20 per night. He requires this in cash up front and doesnt give a receipt. He repeated this practice with everyone arriving over the three days I was there i.e. everyone. A nice untraceable cash earner for the greedy Mario. Apart from this apparent "scam" i found the place itself to be reasonably presentable and clean. Breakfast was continental and fine. Satisfactory for a few days but even the upgraded rooms are too small for longer.

Hotel is located 200 yards off main road. Rooms are very basic, beds are concrete based with mattress on top, and non-moveable. Unfortunately some other guests from Strictly Greece had booked for twin rooms, but were informed that rooms had been doubles only for over 8 years.
Bathroom small and separate shower area reminded me of Flintstones!
Continental breakfast served by pool on self-service basis.
Seen other reports since - but as we were only staying two nights and were out discovering, the room was only used for sleeping in. 
Hotel well presented and kept clean.
Walk to beach and main restaurant area less than five minutes, although would recommend Dorians Pub, (beer 2 euros, cocktails 4 euros) for casual night out.
Bus stop to Thira at top of road, trip takes 20 minutes.
