Well what can I say... It's all positive feedback from me and my partner! Such a lovely hotel with such a friendly, welcoming vibe. I've been abroad and stayed in alot of places but this hotel has my heart, the family who run this hotel are the sweetest people you will ever meet especially Maria's mum, she's like your grandma on holiday, god love her💞 . 
The hotel is very clean, with maid service each day. Restaraunts are also within walking distance with a variety to choose from. Not to mention Maria's husband I think it's yanis, his home cooked food is absolutely beautiful! I would 10000000% recommend to anyone, this is the place 👌

Family run and fantastic!!

What an amazing little gem of a hotel. We stayed here from 24th May arriving very late to a lovely welcome from Maria. 
Room: spotless, we had too very comfy single beds together with small bedside tables. Lovely open wardrobe with 10 hangers and 2 draws. 
Dressing table with chair.also had small kettle and mini fridge under. 
Bathroom: wow the waterfall shower with large area to stand in and great shelf. Plenty of hot water. Again spotless and fresh towels everyday. 
Pool Area. Amazing very comfy sun beds. No need to reserve as some days only 8 people dotted around. Nice touch with jacuzzi. Pool was cool when arrived but to be expected for may but was started to feel a lot warmer by the end of the week.
Pool bar: The food freshly prepared by Yannis was amazing and his home made pizza was superb. 
Break fast. Maria mum prepares fresh traditional Greek food every morning with a warm smile and welcome. Remembers your drinks order. Also plenty of fresh juice and cereal. 
Yannis Maria and mum are amazing hosts and very passionate about their hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they love having a chat to guests. We will certainly be returning as we fell in love with Santorini.

Amazing little Gem

Clean room, plenty of towels, beds changed regularly, lots of hanging space, a safe and a hairdryer in bathroom.  We had no drawers so lived out of our suit case for non hanging clothes.  There was a sofa that I think could be a bed, where we put both suit cases. I would have liked a comfy chair to sit on, but thats me being picky!  Bed was comfy. You had to ask for pool towels which I worked out on last day.  We didn’t eat here but everyone said food was very good., we just ran out of time. The pool area never too busy with comfy sun beds. The shower room was fantastically equipped if you had a late flight and couldn’t get a late check out, everyone appeared to get their room for longer.  Family were around but not intrusive, very helpful and clearly passionate about what they have and do and want you to relax and have the best time. I think hotel was good value for money. We hired a car, easy to park here!  This hotel has many returning guests that was very clear!  Thank you all for a wonderful stay

Wonderful stay in Perissa. A great base or place to stay with an trip out or too if that is what you like to do.

The Hotel Artemis in Perissa is an amazing hotel. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the hotel to go to.

Visited in oct 23, beautiful hotel and area really quiet ideal for relaxing holiday or base to tour island which is what we did really enjoyed it. Weather fantastic, family run hotel go above and beyond to help you would definitely recommend a visit ❤️

Beautiful relaxing quiet hotel

Give this place a try. Guaranteed satisfaction. Family run hotel on quite a steep hill to Perissa town. All the family from mother to daughter to son in law were wonderful. Rooms adequate but in need of upgrading which is being done in the close season.

Artemis hotel is for you.

Just spent a few days at the Artemis Hotel. Very friendly, family run hotel and it is efficiently run.
The hotel is a little way out of the centre and the hill can be challenging!
Our room was comfortable but there was a lack of storage space- luckily there was a third bed!!
Shower looked like a cave and clearly refurbished. Hot water was a little hit and miss but, overall OK.
Breakfast was more than adequate but some guests were disappointed that there was no toaster!
Pool area is clean and very comfortable sun beds.
Pool bar is open and offers a wide variety of food and drink. Clearly some guests are frequent visitors and this is clearly visible with preferential treatment!
Previous reviews have commented on some staff/management’s attitude and lack of social skills and this was noticeable.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but doubt whether we would return.

Good- but depends where you are in the pecking order!

It was an absolutely wonderful holiday, filled with the warmth of amazing people. Without a doubt, we will return to this gem of a place.
Prior to making our reservation, I read the reviews and was delighted to discover that the Artemis Hotel held a special place in the hearts of most guests. Well, brace yourself for another enthusiastic endorsement, because I find myself in the position to do the same 😊.
Let's start by setting expectations: this is a 3-star hotel, and it certainly lives up to that rating, but these are three robust stars, and every member of the staff is dedicated to making them shine even brighter.
Upon our very late arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Maria. She not only provided a friendly introduction to our rooms but also handed us a bottle of water to ensure our comfort through the night.
Now, let's talk about breakfast. It's simple yet exceptionally good. This is where you'll meet Artemis herself. She reminds me of my own grandmother. Language barriers fade away in her presence; you'll understand each other perfectly. Assisting her is Mariana, and together, they will organise your breakfast with care and attention. They remember your preferred seat, your coffee preferences, and even sent my mom a coffee in her room when she couldn't make it to breakfast.
On the menu, you'll find delightful Greek salads, yogurt, stuffed vine leaves, feta cheese, and more. Don't miss trying Artemis's homemade jams; the caper leaves are a personal favourite. What's special is that Artemis strives to surprise you with something different each day, ensuring your breakfast remains exciting.
After breakfast, you'll encounter Ianis and Stelios, Father and son responsible for the outdoor bar and pool. You will see Ianis carefully checking the pool's water quality every day, giving you peace of mind. As for Stelios, he's one of the most courteous individuals I've ever met. Words alone cannot capture his kindness and poise.
The poolside food is top-notch. The menu may not be extensive, but the quality is unmatched. You'll see Ianis every morning with bags of fresh ingredients, ensuring everything tastes and looks incredibly fresh.
I must mention a menu item that initially gave me pause but turned out to be a revelation: the pizza. It's mentioned that it takes an hour to prepare, but trust me, this pizza would put Italian pizzerias to shame. 
Initially, I contemplated dining in the city, but I soon discovered that some of the best food was right here at the hotel, and it was reasonably priced. A Greek salad, for example, costs only £7, and a pizza is around £11. A 1.5-liter bottle of water is just £1.5, making everything very affordable.
From time to time, you'll cross paths with Maria, Stelios's mother. She's approachable, and you can discuss any concerns with her; she'll promptly address them. Mariana's husband also contributes to the hotel, despite any language barriers, his constant smiles and dedication speak volumes.
I can't continue without mentioning Canelos and Bella, the two adorable dogs you'll occasionally encounter. Each has their own unique story and even paintings on the wall.
What truly sets this place apart is the sense of family. You're not just a guest; you become part of their extended family. We were genuinely saddened to leave, but on the evening of our departure, when we had to check out at 8 pm, every single member of the Artemis family stayed until 8 pm to bid us farewell. It was a touching gesture that brought tears to our eyes.
I could go on about the spacious room with a large fridge, excellent water pressure, a generous swimming pool, jacuzzi, and clean rooms, but you've likely read those details in other reviews. What I want to emphasize here are the people. If being surrounded by genuinely kind, lovely individuals who go above and beyond to make your holiday perfect is important to you, then The Artemis is the ideal destination. They were the key to our perfect holiday.
Without a doubt, we will return, and this marks the first time I've ever felt so compelled to do so.

An absolutely wonderful holiday, filled with the warmth of amazing people

Stayed at the Artemis for our honeymoon and was not disappointed. The family run hotel is clean and fresh, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast choice was perfect to set you up for the day and there is a good choice of meals on the menu available throughout the day. Our room was wonderful with one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on. The pool and eucalyptus bar are only a few steps from your room and the beach with some great local taverns is only 500m away.
I look forward to returning again next year for more cocktails at the Bar.
