This hotel is a little jewel in the crown, Dena and her staff are fabulous and cannot be more helpful.  The hotel is spotless and worth more than the 2 star plus, the towels and rooms are changed and cleaned every day.  The breakfast provided is good and there is plenty of choice.  I would definitely come back to this hotel again and Perissa.

Fabulous hotel

As many people have previously noted, this really is a lovely, small hotel. Has the feel of an ancient Greek villa that's been modernised to 21st century standards! Great rooms, friendly, professional staff, spotlessly clean throughout and free air con. My only slight reservation, is that the pool lounging area is next to a fairly busy slip road to the beach, which can occasionally be noisy with cars, bikes, quads, etc. BUT, this hotel is special. Perissa is a bustling holiday resort with countless eateries and bars. THE main setback for us, was the great difficulty in getting in and out of the sea. Although the beach is black sand and shingle, this gives way to an undulating, slippy, volcanic rock ' platform' as you enter the water! Whilst this is likely to deter our return, if you want a special hotel as a base to relax or sightseeing around the island; I would strongly recommend The Black Sandy Beach

A gem of a hotel

What can we say, what a lovely, friendly hotel. Perfect location, a stones throw from the beach. Emaculately clean and fresh. Breakfast was fabulous here, Dena, Zara (the chef) and Byron went above & beyond each day and were so helpful. This hotel although only rated a 3 star by TUI is in our opinion way more than this, we will definately recommend to friends & family and hope to return ourselves. Thank you!

Santorini Escape

Myself and my partner have recently returned from a fabulous stay at the Blacksandy Beach Hotel.  We booked up prior to Covid hitting our shores and were disappointed that the holiday was then cancelled.  We therefore re-booked, and were not disappointed.

It is a lovely, prestine hotel in a relaxed/chilled location within a few minutes walk to the beach, and plenty of local shops and bars.  

Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, so welcoming. We could tell they take great pride in the hotel, as it kept spotlessly clean and it's guests are well looked after. 

Breakfasts were perfect with a good choice of food to start the day.  Our room was lovely, cleaned daily with a change of towels. 

We cannot fault this fabulous hotel.....thank you Black Sandy Beach for a lovely stay!! x

The perfect stay

We have just returned home from a week at this hotel, and I can say it was wonderful, I believe it has changed ownership recently. The staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for you. DINA, BYPONAI, ZAXAPOYA and MAPKOE (Sorry if names not correct).
Everything was really clean, breakfast very good. Best omletes. Rooms cleaned every day. Definitely return.

Little gem. 

This is an Hotel with an amazing service, thanks to Francesco and Nikos. Very close to the sea just 3 minutes away, to enjoy the black sand beach. Large breakfast, with hot food, eggs, omelettes, beans, bacon, sweets, cereals, juices, cakes, bread, jams. Very clean hotel and excellent housekeeping service. Connection to Fira (main centre for visiting all of Santorini) with bus stop 1 minute away from Hotel. On the sea, dozens of restaurants offer free umbrellas and deckchairs all day in exchange you have to buy something at bar. Thanks to the whole hotel and in particular to the cat GINA :). Santorini will forever remain in my heart. Rocco and Emma.

Amazing Service - Amazing People - Best place to stay 10 out 10

Stayed in June 2023. Absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are lovely and clean and very traditional. Just what we like, breakfast was traditional. Staff very welcoming. Very quiet and relaxing. If you want more of a vibe pop to dorians. Perfect for couples wanting to unwind.

Relaxing stay

I’m at the airport sad to leave after a wonderful stay at the Black Sandy Beach hotel. 

A very friendly welcoming family hotel. 
Excellent location close to Perissa beach. 
Easy to get about the island on local buses. 
Lots of walking/hiking on the doorstep. 

Rooms exceptionally clean. 
A lovely breakfast each morning, with a good selection and a different freshly baked cake everyday. 
My only very small negative is that the rooms aren’t particularly sound proofed. But luckily I had my ear plugs. 

Lots of help and advice given from reception. 

When I return to Santorini, I will have no hesitation in retuning to this hotel.

Wonderful Stay

I had a wonderful holiday at sandy beach. Francesco and marina, niko and all staff keep the hotel immaculate. All are friendly and helpful. Marina is a good Baker, lovely cakes, biscuits rice pud. Breakfast is lovely. Comfortable bed  attractive rm above pool. The pool is lovely too. Hope to return.

Best hotel! Try it .....

Well this lovely small and friendly hotel was probably one of the best places to stay in Perissa its a gorgeous hidden gem, its spotlessly clean fantastic owners and staff that i hope to go back too in the future
