What can we say we absolutely LOVED this place. We stayed for four nights and wished it was longer. Immaculately clean, great location opposite the sea. Sun beds outside our apartment, the beach opposite and a lovely shaded terrace outside our apartments to have our breakfast and lunch and sundowner drinks. Nikos was a fantastic host and was so lovely he made our visit even more enjoyable,  it felt like home from home we will be visiting again. Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing. Thank You 🙏

Amazing Stay at Ostria Perissa

Santorini is about the white houses on the top of the rocks, but has another side as well: black sand beaches and nice vibe at the sea - This is Perissa. Nou doubt, that in Perissa, this accomodaion is one of the best choice. Right on the beach, in the middle of the town, if you sit on your teracce, you feel like to be in a bar. The house is very nice, extreme clean, and tidy, the owner pays very close attention for everything. Rooms are great, with a lots of space, well equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Wifi and parking OK
Negative: sleeping quality is not the best. Many light comes into the room either in the evening and in the morning as well. And in the peak season, the street can be very loud.

Good base in Santorini

Place,  atmosphere, location, private beach all this for very small money. 
And you're slipping on the beach. 
You need walk 40 steps and you in the sea.

Best place I been ever. 

We stayed here for most of a week in June.  The owner was very nice - offered us pieces of lemon cake on most of the mornings.  Very quiet place - this could also be due to it being before school let out for summer in Greece.  Our room had a full-size refrigerator and a panini press but no microwave oven which would have been nice for leftovers for the next day from local restaurants.  The beds should be replaced as they were firm and somewhat uncomfortable.  The room was large, but the bathroom was very small.

If you want to run the AC in the room you will be charged 5 Euros per day. The owner said the electricity rates were quite high on the island as his reason for the surcharge. Wifi was ok in the room, but not as good outside in the lounging area.  There is no pool, but you are right across the street from the beach and sea.  

Lots of good places to eat within 100meters. There are some convenience stores on the main thoroughfare, and also in the back street areas of Perissa.  If you are staying longer you can go to some small supermarkets on the island.  The owner can arrange a van to get you down to the port or you can walk to the end of the beach near the hill to catch the island bus to the main town or other locations on Santorini.

If you can tolerate the hard mattresses, check it out.  Otherwise, you might want to look at some newer (and probably more expensive) places on the beach.

Small Quiet Place to Stay Across from the Beach

Returned this morning Sunday, 8th July after 28 wonderful days in what we think is the nicest, and most relaxing accommodation in Perissa. Nikos is a wonderful host and has a great sense of humour. He is also very attentive and loves to look after his guests.The apartments are all well furnished and couldn't be in a better position (right on the beach)!!! Everything you could want for a wonderful restful holiday is right on your doorstep. Can't wait to return next year.

Just spent another 28 days at the Ostria

Very nice and cozy hotel, right by the beach in a quiet area of the island. Beautiful beach and many restaurants to choose from. The owners are very friendly and available, the price is very reasonable. The owners only accept cash. They do not have any setup for credit card payments. so bring cash for the room. Very clean apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place by the beach for swimming, snorkeling, etc. Minutes away from the ruins of ancient Thera (top of the mountain), and a short bus ride to Fira.

The perfect gateaway right on the beach and away from the chaos of Thera and Oia

Both my mother and mother in law for stayed there for 6 nights. They both loved it. It was so clean, the owners so friendly and the location (sea front) just amazing. Going to the beach was always the best part as it was just a few seconds away and then back to the balcony to enjoy a nice drink or coffee. Everything around (restaurants and market)  within few minutes walking. Definitely a place for real vacations.
