The owner is there every day for you to make everything possible to fullfil all your wishes. Clean, nicely furnitered small room let us feel like home. Not seaview but nice view of Chora which you can enjoy every single day again and again. It do not pall. Essence of Greece. Good location close to the heart of Livadi. A lot of taverns on left or right, almost located on the beach.

More than a good choice on Serifos

Stayed in Aliktypo for a few days in June 2021 with my family (2 kids) and the whole experience was great. The owner is very friendly, the rooms were very clean and the location is quiet but also close the restaurants and shops.

The only challenge was finding a parking space at the time but that should have been resolved by now.

Great family stay option

Right covid does not effect my review of these studios, even  though i think i was the only person staying at the studios at the time, the first week in September 2020.
Studios have a a lot of strong points, first of is Katerina , she's brill, was so up beat mind of information and always happy to help , even though  it was obvious that covid had hit their trade hard.
Second is the position of the studios, they are  up a small alley way (they do have a off road parking area) about a minute from the town beach and about two minute walk to bars, shops, restaurants etc, but far enough away to be quiet at night.
Third studios themselves are some of the best equipped self catering studios   i have stayed in. Very well equipped kitchen, proper hub and oven, even had toasted sandwich maker! they are very clean and comfortable ,though mine was a bit to pink for my liking...see pics...
My studio was on ground floor and had front and rear terrace  both with table and chairs and drying rack in rear terrace
Only bad point is that there is (from my room at least)  no view at all , but i think the position of the studios more than makes up for that.

brillant studios...

We stayed at Aliktypo for three days during July and the experience was wonderful.  
Katerina is a great hostess, kind, helpful and always with a smile, full of positive energy. 
Our room, no7, was as shown in pictures, modern and well decorated. It was kind of small, but we chose that because we don't care about room space during vacations. The whole room and specially the bathroom, were spotless and well maintained. We also had everyday cleaning and fresh towels!  What was great about Aliktypo was the location of it, right next to all the cafes and restaurants of Livadi (just a 5 minutes walk) and just one minute walk to the bus station (you might want to use the bus for the night visits to chora). Also, there is a private parking area for the tenants of Aliktypo and that is very helpful cause Livadi is a very busy and crowded area during summer!
We enjoyed our stay at Aliktypo and definitely would visit it again!

Excellent choice!

The rooms are nicely decorated but the bathroom, in the room we stayed, was small.

The rooms are located in a small road, near Livadia, with no view at all. You can see the building across the road! Although we were told the rooms have a nice view of the Chora, you can only see the Chora when you come out of the room and turn right. A bit disappointing.

Friendly owner and very clean rooms.

The studios just off the road with all the tavernas  in .are superb  as is the owner  who speaks  perfect English and greek and always has time help with any information you might need as well as a chat .the tavernas away from the marina are much cheaper and the first hotel away from the marina  from the studios did a great  mixed starter .the beachs  are sandy and have a bus service  to them for 3 euros .its a pity that BA  canceled  the the flight at the last minute but Agean airways was able to take us thanks to Sunvil sorting  it out. Great place

Aliktypo was a pleasant surprise! Located in Livadi, close to the port, bars and restaurant! It was beautifully decorated and clean made us feel like home! Katerina was an amazing hostess which gave extra points to our stay there :D

Cosy, clean and well-located!

Unfortunately I left it too late and I only managed to book one of the smallest rooms in this lovely complex of 8 or so studios and apartments.
As we spent most of our time by the beach, the size of the room did not matter too much.
The place was absolutely spotless and host / owner Katarina can be justifiably proud.
She is always around to make sure that her guest are comfortable.
The room was decorated in funky green (a LOT of green) and brown  and black tones.
We had a large terrace that was perfect for an evening bottle of wine.
Good amenities are provided. Shampoo,  conditioner, shower gel and other bits and pieces. Fridge, kettle, tea and coffee are also provided.
TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs.
Perfectly drinkable tap water!
Very good sound proving in the doors and windows! We did not feel disturbed by any noise (apart from the family upstairs that partied loudly until 5.30 a.m. on one day..
Not that noise in general is any problem. Location is quiet.
3 minutes walk to the sandy town beach. The harbour front restaurants of Livadi town are reachable in less than 5 minutes, as is the bus stop for buses to the other beaches and Chora, the hillside town you can see from your room or balcony.
The one and only bad point is the shockingly bad WiFi connection. 
Other than that, a really great, family run place to spend a relaxing week!

spotless, cozy and friendly

Katerina who ran the hotel was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.  We were given a free upgrade to a studio on the ground floor overlooking the surrounding buildings.  We were given a very good breakfast  on our terrace, and there were many tavernas within easy walking distance.  It was in a quiet location with no direct vehicle access.  The room prices are very reasonable and we had an extremely enjoyable 8 days there.
