We stayed at Sophia's Rooms for three nights. A lovely place. The room was spacious and comfortable. We bought breakfast in a nearby bakery and savored it in the quiet of  the garden.  Niki and her family will go out of their way to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. 

A nice surprise 

I loved my stay here. It was exactly what i was looking for. WHen i go on holiday to Loutro im always out and about so it was nice to come home every night to a comfortable bed, a cleanly and rennovated space and a nice hot shower. The owners were great and welcoming as well!

Conveniently located, clean and well-priced!

Stayed here for our fourth time and it is still the best place to stay in Loutro.
Sofias and her family are so helpful in every way.The rooms are spotless and air conditioned with lovely views over the harbour.In the centre of Loutro so convenient for the nearby restaurants.Will be returning next year.

Fabulous place to stay

At Sofia's you can expect to be provided with comfortable beds in a tastefully refurbished environment. The decor is simple but cozy, and super clean. This family-ran establishment makes sure to take care of its guests and will go to great lengths to make you feel at home. While some may prefer to stay right on the beach, these rooms are a literal 30 second walk away from the beach, making them perfect money-savers. Either way you'll probably spend all of you day lounging on the beach, eating at the tavernas or hiking, so no need for unnecessary extras!

Great Value for Money and Hospitality, what more could you ask for?

We are experienced visitors to Crete & travellers should understand that even in the more upmarket or expensive hotels (which this is not) you may not find the sort of facilities we are used to in the UK. Sofias is a basic rooms set up which does not include breakfast in the price. The rooms are situated over the family mini market behind the properties on the harbour side. Our room was adequate for our purposes although the aircon was very noisy. The view was of very pretty colourful gardens at the back of the village and the SHARED balcony provided views over the harbour. Breakfast can be had for a few Euros at any of the many waterfront Restaurants. On arrival they had no knowledge of our booking so we produced the copy of 4 e-mails between us sent 9 months earlier. On departure they tried to charge 5 Euro per night more than agreed so we produced the e-mail again & all was well. Those experienced in Greece will know that this is not unusual & it should not spoil the experience. After 3 days they had not emptied the toilet bin & we had to ask them to do so. Although this establishment was adequate we would not stay there again.
