Nice view, beautiful beach and a blue sea. You can eat near the sea. the food is very good (Pork Chop) and the appartments are very good, clean and own badroom. The airco is working good. Nice people. We go back again

We already knew the place, having been there 3 years ago but alas things are not improved, sure they are worse, warm welcoming in a hot afternoon, downside was that the room was occupied by another couple! The man at desk, waiter, multitasking young could have been working well in a Charlot movie not in an hotel or restaurant, the owner was rude and unpolite, treated very badly the young and insisted we ordered for dinner the priciest food, saying other dishes were "sold out" at 9 p. m.! There was a lack of electricity in the morning so we couldn't use the bathroom and in the meanwhile the staff sit chatting, smoking and sipping cold coffee, end of the story I'd better give 0 stars, avoid it definitively

Talking about flioxenia

An ideal destination for those who want easy access to the beach, great views and non-pretentious accommodation. There is plenty of parking and a big restaurant right on the beach for your meals. We didn't try the food there, however it looked like a family restaurant that we would have noemally chosen if we were hungry. The room itself was quite good, with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean and the bathroom was recently renovated which was nice! No complaints for a budget stay!

Flisvos fits in perfectly in Frangokastello.  That is, if you like the south coast of Crete, in particular the Sfakia region, then you will love Flisvos.  However if you expect your holiday destination to be polished and have all of the conveniences of modern life near by, you'd better look elsewhere.  

It has been run by Spiros and his family for the last few decades and is located next to the small harbour.  The rooms are simple yet clean and well maintained.  A/C is installed in the rooms if you want to use it, there is wifi supplied in the taverna also.  The food is excellent, with simple dishes using local produce.  The fresh fish is particularly good, as are the Meze.

If you are looking for a trip to get away from the mad rush of modern life, to chill out in a place with stunning ocean views whilst enjoying excellent food and drink, then this might well be the place for you.

A great location to get away and relax

If you are looking to get away from the hectic pace of life, then Flisvos in Frangokastello will exceed your highest expectations. I have just stayed for four nights on my third visit and can not recommend it enough, I will be back. The rooms are very clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (and speak excellent English), the food is delicious with plenty of different dishes to choose from and it is all fantastic value for money.

It is in the south west of Crete and the area is stunningly beautiful, and totally unspoilt. It is right beside the sea, with mountains behind you and there are plenty of gorgeous beaches within walking distance. If you want to get away and unwind, you won't find anywhere better.

Amazing place to relax, perfect in every way

Flisvos apartments are located near the sea and some of them have a truly beautiful view. Our room was the #10 which is highly recommended. 10 minutes from the Fragokastello beach and with the Flisvos taverna under the apartments, you won't need to use the car during your stay. Apartments are clean, personnel is gentle and helpful and the price of 50€ is considered fair for the location on a high season. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be the time and the noise from the slamming doors during room service. When you are on vacations, waking up at 8:30 from the noise is mostly annoying.
