Fabulous meal as always at this amazing place, the best food & perfectly run by attentive, professional, accommodating staff - unfortunately there’s always someone that will complain about something that’s accepted all over Greece ie smoking, perhaps next time ask to be moved don’t wait till the end of your meal to or take a staycation.

We were surprised and disappointed that smoking is still allowed in the restaurant.
Our meal was excellent other than the smoke from other diners. The manager explained that smoking in the restaurant  is perfectly legal

beautiful location on the hill next to the small harbour overlooking the small village. Very friendly and high standard. The food is very high standard and the service as well. Do to the location on the hillside there is many steps so  you must be able to walk around

Beautiful quiet and stunning view

We spent three nights in this amazing hotel, everything was perfect. The room had the most beautiful view, super comfortable beds, a balcony which had the best view ever and I visited over 35 countries. The breakfast terrace was ideal, again with the best view, super friendly staff and tasty food. The beach was stunning, clear water and if you snorkel, you will see some sea life. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and we hope to come next year. During these days, I felt like I truly experienced real Greece - hospitality, community and nature.

Amazing stay in a beautiful place

Restaurant with a beautiful view of Loutro Bay, quiet and soothing. Service is attentive and fast. The food served is well cooked, not greasy. It is not a gastronomic restaurant, but the menu of dishes is varied, offering typical entrances, salads, pasta and grilled. A little bemool, there is no fish on the menu.

It's a lovely evening of lovers

We came for second time in this beautiful place, both times in August. Service was as good as expected, food quality great and healthy measurements due to Covid-19 were mostly followed, the only suggestions I can make are to improve the quality of pillows and the polycarbonate pergola over the patio doesn’t feet to the local concept and the heat under it is to much specially during breakfast.

Relaxing weekend in a unique place

Since 2005, we have been coming to Loutro quite regularly. As soon as I arrived in June 2021, I noticed the heating phase of this oversized hot air furnace. In previous years, the terrace offered perfect sun protection through its lightproof wooden roof. This had been replaced by a stylish glass ceiling. A genius in a spot almost at the southernmost point of Europe with almost 300 Sundays a year! Early care began the heating phase of this oversized hot air furnace.

A very faded charm

This property is the perfect space for enjoying Loutro and all of its amenities. The hotel is relaxed, informal, and charming. Our balcony had a wonderful view out over the harbor, and our room was clean and basic. Breakfasts were uniformly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beware of the fact that there are no elevators, and the walk to your room from the harbor requires a climb of approximately 100 steps. That said, we found the climb to be good exercise that rewarded us with a lovely view just slightly removed from the action down on the harbor. Loutro itself is a liveky place to visit. Highly recommended.

Best Place to Stay in Loutro

We booked our Crete vacation quite shortly and took the ferry from Paleochora to Chora Sfakion. Loutro was so pleasing that we booked a room at Porto Loutro/Hill for the next day. Usually this hotel is never so short term. There is something elegant at the town entrance near the port, but that makes it exciting, because you hear the sea first of all. This is very nicely furnished, the beds are very comfortable from the Superior room. But the heat is the large terrace. The view is great. The breakfast is also good, with all the measures of corona prevention...

Very beautiful with a beautiful view.

We had a room on the top floor with a very nice view of the terrace. The room is large with a small living room, bed and bathroom of the right size. Everything was clean. You should not be afraid of stairs because it goes up well to the rooms. Breakfast, however, is quite limited. It is always the same...
