This hotel is beautiful and the pool is a dream. The hotel grounds are serene. The staff are all excellent and very helpful. The suite bathroom and shower were the biggest I’ve had in Europe. Also a very clean hotel. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Serene Sifnos

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. We had a lovely stay. We were greeted by HATI when we arrived.

Prior to that, she was kind enough to help us with various things by email.

We were appointed our room, which was a suite and had a nice sofa and balcony.

You can see the water from the property and it was very tranquil and peaceful. 

Although the property was small, the staff was extremely helpful and sincere. In the morning, they had a very simple but tastefully done breakfast. The only thing I would recommend is to have some signage around the breakfast area so that the guests don’t touch all of the items and you reduce contact given the circumstances right now . 

Everything was made fresh and we really enjoyed the coffee, fresh eggs (amazing!) While overlooking the water in the distance.

We didn’t get to try the pool or Jacuzzi because we were too busy exploring the island but we saw many people using it. The location of the property is actually perfect. You can walk to the old town in about 15 or 20 minutes and eliminated the need for us to get a car. I would recommend however if you do want a car or taxi, plan it ahead of time. 

The best thing of all, is that the staff found us a way to get to the port so we can make our ferry because taxis were so booked up. This just shows you how nice they are!

Would absolutely stay again and I hope to be back!

Excellent Stay!

We spent a few days here with family and loved the place. Arrival isn't especially promising, as the entrance isn't obvious, but it turns out that's in keeping with the feel of Kamaroti - laid back, stylish and absolutely not ostentatious. The photos on their website don't do it justice: the pools are bright and attractive, the gardens gorgeous and the rooms very comfortable. Staff are friendly and unobtrusive (so they leave you alone unless you want something - suits us perfectly). Breakfast is superb. Noise levels are zero. 
I would say your own transport is essential, unless you are a very keen walker, wanting to explore the numerous island trekking routes. Sifnos is small, so beaches are not far, but certainly not walkable. Our favourite was Vlathi. Kamaroti has lots of eco credentials and everything is thoughtfully prepared and presented. If you are looking for something glitzy, this is not the place. For us it was perfect.

Beautiful calm  and thoughtful hotel

Ever since a delightful outdoor lunch at Kamaroti some years ago, I have been wanting to stay here. And we did, for three nights. For added privacy we chose a suite--number 9--at one end of the property. Besides relaxing we wanted to do some work: writing, and some research on the internet. The hotel was everything I hoped for, in some ways more and in one way far less. Knowing how difficult it is to create and maintain a garden in the windy, arid Cyclades, we were overwhelmed by the beauty and peace of the hotel's garden. Garden lovers would be well advised to stay at the Kamaroti if only for that. What's more, the staff could not be kinder or more helpful. To say nothing of the view. Thanks to the pandemic, there's no breakfast buffet at the moment, but à la carte breakfast under the olive trees is sublime. The only catch--which for us, was a big one--is the appalling wifi. Surfing the net took so much time that I finally gave up, but even email was often a chore. To download our favorite podcasts we had to sit outside the reception office, and even then it would take 15 minutes. Everything electronic was a hassle. For many, this wouldn't matter, but for us, we won't go back until this is resolved. This is not rocket science. Even the cheapest hotels and cafés have good wifi, for Pete's sake! The only other drawback--and again, this is personal--is the number of children. In mid-July, it felt at times like a kindergarten. Great for families, of course, whose kids can spend the day in the water, but not so great for couples, who have to wait their turn even to use the lap pool. I would suggest the management encourage families to keep their children in the two (!) pools that were designed for them, and leave the (fabulous!) lap pool to the adults.

Paradise--with a catch

Kamaroti is a beautiful hotel. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous, and so is the mountainous and ocean backdrop. The staff is friendly and helpful. There’s a stylish vibe overall, that makes it feel like a trendy, new age boutique hotel. It’s perfect for eco and design-conscious travelers, although the pricing indicates a somewhat more luxurious experience than reality. While the staff, design and surroundings feel 4-star, the actual room and bathroom were pretty standard, or even minimal. 

The pros:
- The staff is amazing. We were greeted with a smile right from the start making us feel welcome, and they helped us with every single request - from getting taxis to cleaning our laundry. 
- There’s good design overall - towels, furniture, amenities. It’s minimalist, slightly modern and chic. It makes you feel like you landed in the right place (if that’s your kind of place). 
- Our rate included breakfast, which was plenty and delicious, including all kinds of home made breads, cakes, biscuits, and even fruit jams. They serve fresh yogurt, eggs, bacon, and fresh squeeze orange juice. They even had the latest issue of the New Yorker. 
- Comfortable beds with functioning AC. Quiet surrounding. We got great sleep there. 
- It’s relatively close to Apollonia, which has great restaurants and nightlife. 

A few comments:
- Small room: There was almost no space in our room besides the bed. Hanging out in your room basically means laying down on your bed. 
- Bathroom was spartiate: small, no glass for your toothbrush, no robes. 
- Unless you’re willing to walk on a steep road for 15 minutes to get to a town (30 to Apollonia) you need a car/taxi/moped to get in and out of this hotel. If like us you didn’t rent a car (which is difficult on Sifnos without an international drivers licence), you should pack your hiking shoes! Our advice is to rent a vehicle, which will make your stay at Kamaroti more convenient. 
- We found that the pool was too cold to stay in more than a few minutes (end of August). 

Beautiful Boutique Hotel 

We stayed 2 days in this hotel. We had a very good attitude from the staff. The Breakfast is very good and the features are well organized for cumfort. The room was spacious enough. The wifi was a problem in the room but it is OK... 
I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great Staff

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The facilities in the room including the mattress, air con and hair dryer were all fantastic quality. The pool is beautiful and the breakfast was really delicious. Their cappuccino fredos were the best we’ve had on our trip around Greece. I would highly reccomend staying here! My only note is that the WiFi (and 3G) is very patchy. For some, this may be heaven but for us, we found it a little annoying. However, it does come and go. It still doesn’t take away from what a beautiful property this is! 

Beautiful property! 

We booked a room at Kamaroti at the last minute after our ferry schedule was changed. The hotel and location are so peaceful - it was just what we needed after a few touristy days in Santorini. The rooms are simple and well-decorated, and the beds are so comfy. Also Kamaroti seems to be taking a lot of steps to be environmentally friendly, which means a lot to me. The breakfast the next morning.....wow. I wish I could have breakfast there every day. Our stay was only one night, I wish it could have been longer!

Serenity

Kamaroti Suites has a beautiful protected position, set almost in a natural amphitheatre of terraces, and old olive trees facing out to sea. We had a suite with terrace on a upper level and it was perfect for our 5 days in Sifnos. Kamaroti, at least  in August is an expensive property, but for that you have a blend of comfort, design and quiet but friendly service. The grounds and breakfast service are extremely good and the staff on hand approachable and helpful. If I had any suggestions they would be extremely minor, for the price paid, a replacement of water bottles in the room would be a helpful and subtle touch. The WiFi connection is poor - but that is probably a pro when it comes to switching off and I would note that for mobility challenged persons - and children, there are many steps across the property. We very much enjoyed our stay, proximity to Artemonas and the Chora (both walkable) and the swimming spot just down in front - something of a secret spot worth discovering.
