Can not recommend this place enough. Everything was just amazing. Let’s start with the people. Flora is the most welcoming sweet person ever. My kids loved her so much they want to adopt her as their grandmother. She was so warm and helpful and kept on bringing us home made biscuits for us to enjoy. 
The rooms were simple, very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable and every night we had a great sleep.
The positioning of the rooms was just perfect, only a few steps away from the beach. 
Breakfast every morning was fresh authentic Greek and they customized it to provide whatever your heart desired including accommodating for our fussy kids.
If you’re coming to Sifnos definitely stay here.



A must stay

I keep on returning to this place every year! Everything is splendid. This family is so warm and helpfull. The place is perfectly situated, only a few meters from the sea. The rooms are very cosy and clean, thanks to Flora, who cleans them every day.
If you get hungry or thirsty, Frank and Elly will take care of it in the tavern just beside. Cook Vangelis makes the most wonderful dishes.
Is there is a heaven on earth, it must be here.

Heaven on earth

We were lucky to find this, a booking had just been cancelled for a sea facing room. 

The font door opened just a few metres from the beach. 

The room was a good size, had everything that you could need, the beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. 

Falling asleep was easy as we listened to waves crash into the shore. 

It was excellent value and I can't imagine a better deal in the area. 

My only negative is that we didn't stay there longer. 

Lucky find

We stayed for 6 nights in june in the two doublerooms that Pension Flora has. They were great. The view is magnificent. You are 8-10 meters from the sea. It was amazing to get up early and have a morning swim at 8 o'clock and it seemed as we were the only ones on the whole beach. So nice and quiet. Frank and Ellie served us breakfast. In addition to Pension Flora, they also have the Votsalos restaurant. It's located next to the two doublerooms. We had no problem with noice from the restaurant, it was a very quiet and relaxed place. The rooms are simple, clean, has the basic things that you need like a small refrigerator, a kettle and some cups and glass. The beds are comfortable, not too hard. We loved it. And Frank, Ellie, Flora and the rest of the staff are so hospitable and friendly. Frank booked us a taxi so that it waited for us when we arrived the port of Sifnos. The taxi ride takes about 20 min and cost 22 Euro. We think that Pension Flora is a perfect place to stay in Platys Gialos. We will stay there again when we are on Sifnos.

It is a wonderful location, heaven, right on the beach. I want to thanks especially  to the owners. They are very, very, very smiling , friendly. Everything was super:  service, cleanliness, pleasant atmosphere, double room with a fantastic sea view, easy to find, very good breakfast, very good restaurant, Votsalo.

Our best holiday

It is a wonderful location, it is much more beautiful than the pictures, if it is possible that. I want to thanks especially  to the owners (a very, very nice family) . They are very smiling , friendly, in the limit of common sense. Everything was super: service, cleanliness (every day), pleasant atmosphere, double room on the beach, great atmosphere, easy to find. We had a very good continental breakfast. The beach is sandy, few people on the beach and the water is crystal clear. They have also a restaurant, Votsalo, with plenty of choices and very good prices. We would like to stay here forever and we strongly recommended to everyone how want to have a real Greek island atmosphere.
