I spent 3 days at the hotel with my girlfriend and ate breakfast on the ground floor restaurant on our departure day. Breakfast costs 6 euro per person which I found ok but the quality was mediocre. Also, the 3 small cheese pies and the croissant offered seemed not to be fresh - definitely not baked the same day..
Regarding the hotel: our stay was nice and room was clean. The bathroom would definitely need a renovation as it was quite old and very small. Price per night was ok. What I didn't like as well, is the fact that reception was NEVER occupied and we had to search for the hotel people in the restaurant.

Nice budget hotel with some minor flaws and with a nice restaurant

Besides the central location and the nice sea view this was not a place to suggest. Rooms are from average to bad maintened, bathroom is looking dirty even if fresh cleaned - on some spots even mold on the walls. Lack of power sockets on the walls, and invisible staff. We were not asked once how is our staying or if we need anything. There was a man in charge which wasn`t even telling us a "kalimera" in the morning as we were leaving the place. This same man and some of his friends were drinking on the bar located on the ground floor of the hotel and they were yelling or laughing out loud at 1.30pm while we were trying to get some sleep right above. Its a petty such a place not to be a top choise.

Nice sea view, central location

Location was very nice with a nearby restaraunts and the town beach was only 10 min away. We had a room with a sea view and very nice and big balcony. Room was clean and comfort. For the morning coffee and breakfast you have a very nice bar downstairs. Parking was not a big problem. You have three main free parking places nearby - one in front of the hotel (by the church), the other one in the street above the hotel and the third one was in the school backyard. For the information about the parking just ask the nice and friendly reception lady.

Bathroom was too small. We had the air conditioner in our room but it did not help us very much.

I recommend a visit to a nearby place Parthenonas.

Nice location

The seaside hotel Dire has great view in Marmaras Halkidiki.

I recommend to visit also the cafe - bar Dire. It's very nice experience to see the sun set from there!



Excellent experience in Dire 

We stayed only one night (unfortunatelly) but had a good experience. 

The room smelled very nice and it was very clean. The kitchen was well equiped and the bathroom was bigger than expected.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the action in Neos Marmaras. 

If you have troubles finding the receptionist don't ask at the bar. The blonde bartender will barely look at you or give you any answer. That canceled our cocktail night at the bar downstairs.

Nice surprise

My esteemed spouse and I, as well as our daughter and her three little ones, are spending some time in neo marmaras. What we really needed after a full day of playing in the water and exhausting ourselves was a simple, easy restaurant..and that was what the restaurant at the dire hotel was. A friendly server, a lovely ocean view, quick, delicious and relatively inexpensive food..and wait for it..a play room for the kids! They had just the best time in there..my esteemed spouse enjoyed his alpha beer, daughter and I chatted and admired the view, kids got to really tire themselves out and we all enjoyed the food! Well done, Dire...and thank you!

DIRE RESTAURANT WAS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED!

Dire is a nice small hotel in the centre of Marmaras. It is very close to restaurants and bars but also 10' (on foot) by some good beach bars. There is a cafe and grill on the ground floor but there is no noise during the night. The "studios" have a kitchen (with all the appliances needed). The front rooms have a great view of the sea. There is free parking in front of the hotel. Remember to bring a hairdrier because there isn't one in the room.
