Excellent

The rooms were very clean. Everything was in perfect working order. The outside terrace was just perfect for having breakefast. From the hotel everything in Skiathos City is within walking distance. But the best were all the staff members. The were polite all the time and made us feel at home right from the start. We could store our luggage before we could obtain our rooms and the day we left Skiathos to rome the city one last time.

Absolutely recommendable!

We have just returned from a last minute stay here. We booked it because it was not expensive and we were intrigued by the idea of having breakfast on a couple of days as we don't usually bother.
The hotel was way better than we had any right to expect. I would recommend it to anyone.
The room was not massive (though the beds were), it was however spotlessly clean. the wifi was excellent as was the aircon. Towels changed daily and the bed linen every other day.
Our room was at the front but noise was never an issue, once the doors were closed it was so quiet. It was great being so central,  the centre Papadiamontis Street was 2 minutes stroll, beach about 10 minutes, port a little less.
Breakfast was a revalation, freshly prepared omelette or ham and chees toastie if you wanted it, endless coffee, juice, cereals, and a good selection of bread as well as ham and cheese. Just make sure you save room for the doughnuts!
If all of this sounds good, add in the fact that the staff are so nice and hardworking, nothing seemed any trouble.

This was our first visit to Hotel Kostis. It will not be our last.

What a hidden Gem

The hotel is right in the middle of Skiathos Town and there is easy access to the surrounding marina, shops and restaurants. It is a small family run hotel, there are no elevators so plan on getting your luggage to your room. Our room was on the front side of the hotel and what keeps me from giving 5 stars is the noise from the street at night and early morning...think 3:45 AM.  The shower was also a bit funky with it being right next to the toilet and only a partial curtain that allowed the toilet to get soaked when the shower was in use. The breakfast was very good!


Great Location 

We are here overnight. Would like to be in the town longer. Location is splendid if you like barking dogs, street traffic, party people. Have had to close doors and turn on AC because of street noise. Request room that is not street side. Proprietors are delightful. Town is too. Room is clean. Sorry we didn’t eat on this street. Ate at the port $$$$ and less than mediocre.

Gets the job done

My boyfriend and I stayed at the beginning of September here in a room at the first floor with street view (we chose it). The location of this family run hotel is perfect, in the centre of the beautiful Skiathos Town, near restaurants, shops, small markets. We enjoyed in the morning and in the evening people walking under our balcony and the sound of coffee machines from the coffee shop near the hotel. When we wanted peace and quiet the balcony doors could stop all the noise on the street and the a/c would chill the air for our "soon to be tanned" skin :)
The owners of this small, beautiful hotel were welcoming, so friendly and kind... we honestly felt like home (our second home away from home).
The room was pretty spatious, the furniture in a good condition, the bathroom pretty big, hot water everyday. The room was cleaned everyday, towels changed almost daily, bed sheets changed regularly. The breakfast was very good, with the possibility of ordering omelette/grilled sandwich/greek yoghurt with jam and biscuits.
Everything  was perfect! We totally recommend meeting Ioannis & Konstantina, two wonderful people, whom we hope we will see soon!

Awesome everything!

My husband and I stayed last year for one night after leaving a back airbnb experience.  We are back in Greece this year with our daughter and son in law and knew it was the perfect place to stay in the center of Skiathos..  Hotel is very clean, the rooms are just perfect, the staff amazing.  We loved the breakfast which is included and the central location to all that Skathos town offers.
