A hotel with a family atmosphere and the beach just outside with an incredible ocean view and very nice friendly people who run the hotel. 

Delicious international breakfast topped with small greek homemade delicacies in addition to fresh watermelon, the delicious greek tomatoes, olives and feta. 

Lovely balcony view and suddenly I noticed a bird´s  nest above my head on the balcony because a mother bird suddenly flew towards me. The young birds had not peeped at all the five days I had already been there. 

The sweet hotel hosts gently removed the nest and gave the young birds a five star box accommodation with sun protective umbrella above. That is the true kindness.

Nice and quiet area considering it's so close to Skiathos town.

Tip top cleaning.

A nice hotel experience

Such a shame, our only bad experience of the whole week. The island is gorgeous, location here great and waitresses lovely. Unfortunately the owner of the taverner on the beach clearly missed all her customer service training. The waitresses albeit lovely were not v attentive and I had to order extra drinks from the bar. When I went to pay I was given a bill minus our food. When I informed the owner she rolled her eyes like I had made the mistake!! I then went to pay by card. She snapped the card out of my hand and made it look like she was putting through a contact payment. She handed me my receipt then barked at me I hadn’t entered my pin. By this stage I’d had enough of her rudeness and told her she needed to chill out a bit & she hadn’t asked for my pin! She then mocked me & said, oh but I did. When I reminded her she had got the bill wrong in the first place, she hen accused me of having moved tables!! (Which we hadn’t!) and do she continued to argue with me much to my amusement!

If you want a Basil Faulty experience, this is the place for you. Rudest woman I have ever come across. Such a same. Food was bland and over priced just to add insult to injury. I would avoid this place at all costs!! 

Lunch in restaurant 

Took us a while to find this place but once we had found it we kept going back (for a couple of days at least. If our hotel (Rene) had not been so brilliant we would be looking to stay here if we came to Skiathos again

Great Food

We chose the Hotel Mira Mare for its position on the beach and at the same time because it was near the town of Skiathos, just a short 5 minutes walk and you are there.
We found an added bonus when we learned that the sun umbrellas and  sun beds on the beach, just below the restaurant terrace of the hotel, are free for hotel guests. 
We were welcomed with smiles and warmth by the owners who have been very helpful throughout our stay, infact every one who works there is nice and helpful.
Our room was big with plenty of wardrobe space, a fridge which we turned off as it was a bit noisy, also because it was the second half of Septmenber and not longer as hot as in August. 
We did eat at the Mira Mare restaurant and had some very good beer. Altogether my husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Mira Mare and when we return to Skiathos we shall definitely stay there again.

Total Relaxation

The woman who suppose to make us an offer of variety of food and drinks was rude!!!  I didn't expect that. Very disappointed .
She hardly did her job.. Heading to sit on the chair with i suppose her aquitance...

We were not guests of the hotel. We went to the beach here and had lunch. The food was very good. Fantastic desert. Excellent staff. They have a playground for children. They didn’t charge us for the sunbeads because we were customers of the restaurant.
