Great location, super views, a trip back in history. Worth noting was the fantastic service by mr Dimitris and wife Thessalia who also prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us. We hope to visit again!

Weekend getaway

I was in this hotel from the 24th till the 26th of August and our holiday was really perfect. Dimitris and Thessalia make you feel at home, they give you a lot of great advices about what to do, where to eat, and they really cuddle you! The hotel is a stunning villa with rooms with decorated ceilings, piscina, an amazing view over the valley facing the sea.
At breakfast you receive a paper where you can choose from an wide range of saulted and sweet food, most of them amazing! I already miss the sweet chestnuts with whom we were welcomed!
Sitting on the terrace, admiring the view, enioying the silence and talking with Dimitris will make you enjoying every single moment of your staying there! 
I hope to be back soon!!

Amazing staying

Extremely small 3 bed (person) rooms, made even smaller by squeezing in a small box ‘bathroom’ in one corner! Both the shower and sink area in the so called bathroom are uncomfortably small, not to mention the constant stench of sewage from the drains!! One of the mornings three people from our group (including myself unfortunately) endured cold showers due to lack in capacity of the water boiler system. Finally, the mattresses were terrible (again more than half our group complaining of bad backs in the mornings), and the bedding old and worn... such a shame for what could be a wonderful hotel!
There is a saving grace here however, and that comes in the form of Ms. Thessalia and Mr. Dimitri who make a badly planned/equipped hotel into an acceptable experience, they were truly wonderful and extremely accommodating!

Good be so much better

Wonderful location, pet friendly. Cosy bungalows, tasty and plenty breakfast. Very nice hosts, great view. We will return for sure. The area is great for walks and hikes and there are many taverns with great food around. 

Perfect for couples, families and friends

We were a big family of 18 people. The whole place was rented with Airbnb. The Villa has 6 rooms and there are 4 boungalos down at the lower terrace. The place is just beutiful. The House is authenticaly renovated. And the small boungalos are very romantic. The rooms have differnet sizes and sleeping arrangements, and we all found ourselfs very comfortabelly. The Pool is great and the kids spent there many hours including night swims. We were a little bit concerned with the fact tjat there is no air conditioning, but we found that there is no real need for it, since the place is high in the mountains and gets chily at night. The hoslitality was just perfect with Dimitris and Lia prepering fresh breakfast, taking care of the whole place and us. All in all we had a perfect 8 days vacation in Pelion, and the Archontiko Stathopoulou was one of the main reasons for it.

We booked all the rooms for our friends and family.
It was the most amazing experience.
Excellent service from Mr Dimitri and Ms Thessalia.
The pool was great to have as it was boiling hot during the day. Outstanding breakfast and coffee availability for our guests.

Simply PERFECT

The place is at the entrance of the village Agios Georgios. It’s a unique house which was declared a monument and it’s perfectly renovated. You can visit the place all year long. It has great rooms, though a bit small, excellent surroundings and a swimming pool. The breakfast has all you can ask for. The people that run the place are friendly and warm and ready to help you. It’s an excellent place in a beautiful village which has a lot to show for your trip.

Top destination all year long 

Good location but you have to have a car.
It is very good for couples but for children not to much things to do.
Very good if you like to jogg on the hills.
To get to the see side 20 min by car.
Nice and quiet. 

High on the hill

Located in the village ofagios georgios, this house is a lovely, terraced room facing the sea; a pleasant swimming pool, everything there is for a rest away from the tourist bustle of the beach....pleasant terraced lunch, the managers are at your disposal to make this stay perfect,

Nice stop

It was a last minute desicion! We spend 4 nights, late August. Never heard of the village and accidentally found this marvellous renovated mansion. The village is so quiet, the location is perfect.  Great hospitality and clean rooms, tho the bungalows are not  big. But since you have your own yard with bathe breathtaking view of Pagasitikos gulf, it really doesn't matter. Breakfast was wonderful also.
Extra tip. I was shocked at first by how cool the pool was, (i called it #icepoolchallenge), bu t once you get in you won't wanna come out! The water is from the spring.. So you feel refreshed and energised!
