Basic but very comfortable. Owner Panos was most obliging supplying anything we requested. We arrived at night and he sensibly told us not to venture out into the centre as despite only being 7 minutes walk away would be impossible to find your way back from. Much easier in daylight. Pool area is lovely and wasn`t crowded during our week long stay. Good value - Highly recommend.

Comfortable stay

Nice clean spacious room located around ten minute walk from port.
Room was serviced daily and the premises were clean.
The pool was lovely but needed abit more shade.
Free coffee and tea facilities near the foyer for all guests.
Very quiet location and owner very helpful.

Pleasant stay

We’re just back from the most relaxing holiday with our family. Villa Margarita is pure bliss with exceptional customer service and lovely clean rooms/grounds/pool. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax. Plenty of walkable restaurants and bars. We’ll be back for sure!!!

Perfect traditional hotel

I liked very much the quietness of the room we stayed . However with that said , it didn’t have pans or plates or anything in general to make food by yourself  and also the pool bar was closed . Good thing is the low price , the pool and home feel of the rooms, the fridge , plenty of hot water and strong AC , plus the libraries in the first floor with books . All in all  well balanced

Pretty balanced for the price !!

A fantastic hotel 5 minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, shops and the port.
The host is lovely, genuine, friendly and really helpful. We stayed in room 11 for 4 nights and had a really comfortable stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water and a fridge. Excellent value for money. There is a fabulous swimming pool with loungers and tables and chairs a great place to chill.
Thankyou for making our holiday so great. Hope to return very soon. Highly recommend this place if you want a relaxed stay with the best host on the island.

"Amazing stay"

A very beautiful and quietly hotel! Only 5 minutes walk to center and a nice beach! The staff very kind. Clean rooms and hot water. A beautiful clean  pool and a nice garden! My daughter loved the beautiful and happy dog that always wants to play! We will come again for sure!

Beautiful hotel

Very nice hotel! Very clean rooms! A clean and beautiful pool with nice garden!! Near the center and 5 minutes walk until a beautiful beach! Nice hospitality and very kind stuff!! And the highlight: A very beautiful dog!

Excellent choice!

This is a value for money accommodation. Rooms are traditional and equipped with a small fridge and spacious beds albeit traditional. Big balcony where you can enjoy your coffee. You can always enjoy the pool outdoors. The host is very helpful and picks you up from the Spetses port. He is always there to provide you details on where to dine and what to visit in Spetses. There is a lovely dog in the hotel whose name is Gema. She is the friendliest dog I've ever seen. She doesn't jump on you neither comes close to you, unless you ask for it.

Value for money!

We booked a room for the weekend in August, we didn't want anything fancy, just to relax and charge our batteries.

We would like to mention that we own a few Airbnb's in Athens.

Have said that, the location was perfect for us, quiet neighbourhood 5 minutes from the city center.
The room was really basic and old style, but very clean and tidy, that's why the cheap price. Probably one of the cheapest hotels in the island.

The outside area has been renovated compare to the actual hotel, big swimming pool, shower, deck chairs, seating area a lot of plants. 

We noticed two more things, eventhough that it was August and the hotel was full we had a brilliant night sleep, no interruptions no outside noises and at the swimming pool area there were not a lot of people.

We should not forget to mention the staff that they were always friendly and helpful.

Villa margarita was a big surprise for us dispite the old style and simplicity of the room.
We love it when we see old accommodations manage to beat the competition through excellent service, good normal prices and hygiene standards.

Relaxed weekend

We stayed 4 nights in August. We booked because it was the cheaper room we could find. We didn't expect something more, than the fotos on booking, and it was exactly that. But i really have to say that the owner, tried his best, to help us, at all matters. Also, despite the old  building, the rooms where very clean!
