First of all, the hotel was in a remote location and you need a taxi all the time to be transferred (10€ at least). We found ants all over the house (on the beds too), the walls were scratched and dirty. We could not open the door easily, as it was really old and so did the windows. We also discovered a cobweb. We didn't have Internet connection and signal in general during all our visit. The sheet had a hole, the towels were dirty and basic hygiene products were missing (toilet paper). In the bathroom there was no window or ventilation. All over, it was really overpriced. The only good thing was the transportation from and to the port, as long as the polite staff.

The Worst Experience

This rundown hotel is way up a hill, too far to walk to the beach and the old port.  The room was ok but there was a loud water pump next to the room.  The place had a dilapidated feel to it.  There was only one umbrella by the pool which made it impossible for us to sit by the pool in the hot sun.  The owner could help matters by running a shuttle down to the beach and to the old port for dining in the evening. It's already overpriced so we didn't feel like paying another 10 euros for a taxi every time we wanted to move.

Too far to get anywhere

First of all the facilities are basic and the price is too high for what it offers. But that was never the problem for me. The owner of the hotel is one of the rudest men i have ever encountered. His manners were unacceptable. The hotel bar was supposed to close at 24.00 and it was closed from 21.00 with no further explanation. So if we even wanted water we had to walk 1,5km.  Beside that the room is cleaned after 3 DAYS of stay! Both in the bath and the kitchen we saw cockroaches. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Very rude owner!!/insufficient cleanliness

There is a huge difference between their rooms. We were a large group of friends so we rented two rooms. One was decent, looked recently renovated, clean with a nice bathroom and also a nice view (this is the room that you see on their promo photos). The other one was horrible, with two beds in the bedroom which had air-con and two more rooms in what used to be the kitchen-living room. The bathroom was extremely outdated and small. The room didn't have a view and was at the back of the property. 

I gave it poor overall rating although I am not sure that you will be able to get decent value for money on the overprice island of Spetses. It is approximately 1.5km from the new port and the taxi charges 7 euro for the trip. The beach (10-15 min walk) Agia Marina is also average.

Family run hotel, below average.

1. Staff attitude
2. Cleaning: towels change frequency  should be improved for this price (70 euro/night for a double room without breakfast)
3. Infrastructure: Internet pictures show only the new rooms and not the old ones, which we stay. They can be better.
