Dora was an amazing hostess and she made us feel extremely welcome from the time we arrived. The studio was lovely and had everything we needed including a lovely balcony to eat on. The room was kept very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious food and home baked goodies were an absolute delight. Location is excellent, 5 minutes from Nea Chora beach and 15 from Chania old town. Hoping to go back next year.

Great place to stay

Basically, you feel like home. 
Dora (owner) was wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. She always goes out of her way to make your stay extra special. 

We were welcomed with traditional Greek breakfast and Greek coffee. 
She always tops up the fruit basket with  fresh oranges/fruit. The most juiciest I’ve tasted.
She looked after us and made us feel like family.
The rooms are super clean, and daily cleaned too. The whole place is immaculate.

The location is fantastic. You are local to everything. The beach is a 2 minute walk (literally at your door step). The old town is around 7 minutes walking.

At your doorstep you will find a bakery, fruit market and mini supermarket.

I wouldn’t go else where! Thank you Dora for everything, see you next year  :)

Beyond excellent

I really liked the hotel! Very close to the sea and the old town. The room is very clean, cleaned every day, changed the bedding. The room is very good, with a good shower and toilet. Very good internet, air conditioning in the room, balcony.

Great hotel with a great breakfast.

The room was very modest but ok, considering the price. Strategic to reach on foot the beautiful Venetian port (15 min.) and the restaurants on the long sea of Nea Chora (5 min on foot). The bathroom, however, is tiny and un agile: the shower is practically above the toilet and the drains, (even that of the cooking floor) completely jammed.

Good location.

We stayed for 5 nights, between the first and second week of August 2018, at villa Katerina and everything was perfect. The location of the house is excellent both to take the car and get out of the city (which is essential to reach the most beautiful beaches that are outside the city center) and to walk and go to the central area with a pleasant 5/10 minute walk. Although near the center there is easy parking in the front of the house, without any difficulty in searching. The hospitality, the sympathy, the friendliness of Mrs. Corderina and her daughter Dora are something exceptional. Always smiling. Every time we met in the morning we wanted to offer us coffee, homemade cake, marble, bagel.

Exceptional

My companion and I stayed in these apartments in the middle of July. Dora, the daughter of Mrs. Katerina, is a spectacular woman! She took care of us from the little things to the most important ones. My companion got sick and she cooked us several times a light meal, got us a doctor and everything we needed, including medicines. A loving woman who treated us like children. The beautiful and clean room, our towels are always changed regularly. I'd be there tomorrow too! Close to the sea (3 minutes walk) to the city center and the bus station. I highly recommend!!!!

The Paradise

Villa Katerina welcomes you right away with its green, colorful plants and flowers that frame the structure. It is managed by the fantastic Mrs Katerina, who made us feel like family: always kind and available for any request or advice, welcomed us on our arrival with a homemade sweet and Greek coffee and greeted us, starting off, giving us fresh fruit for the trip. The room is large, bright, with a wall-lined cabinet, balcony, private bathroom, kitchen corner and furnace. The structure is in an ideal position: the nearest beach is 400 meters away and the city center and port can be reached with a few minutes walk.

Welcome and warmth in the beautiful Chania

We stayed for a week at Villa Katerina. The rooms are very simple but equipped with everything: small kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning and in our own a nice balcony overlooking the garden full of plants. The location is excellent, close to the center but away from the chaos. The owner is a very kind old lady who welcomed us with a snack! We will definitely return.

Central location

We were in August and we were really expecting a cleaner and more modern apartment... the bathroom and the room were cleaned every three days and there was not even a detergent to clean the toilet!!! If you go get a bathtub and shampoo because they're not there. On the sofas there were dusty blankets and they didn't have a pleasant smell. In fact we used the sofas to put the suitcase.
