Had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. Hotel was spotless, all the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was good and lovely sun beds and sitting areas. Only a few yards to the bus top and water taxi. Small beach straight across the road from hotel so able to have a swim to cool down. As a solo traveller it was the ideal place to stay and will definitely go back again. 

Pedi Beach Hotel

We wanted a small, friendly & modern hotel in a great location & the Pedi Beach was perfect. The staff were friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean & the breakfast choice & quality were excellent. Only one downside is paying for the hotel's sun loungers which is rather unusual. The resort is very quiet with 1 taverna but there's a regular bus service into the port where there's a great atmosphere & plenty of good restaurants & bars to choose from.

Perfectly small & friendly

Pedi Beach hotel is not just a great hotel on a quiet beach but also a fantastic base to visit Symi Port from.  Just book it…

A challenge with Symi port, like a number of beauty spots around, is during the day it gets very hot and crowded with the tourist boats primarily from Rhodes and Turkey. 

Worse still, the recent phenomena of the vacuous, dopamine feeding, pouting and posing wannabe influencers cluttering the harbour and narrow streets with there setting up photos that nobody will ever see appears to have landed at Symi.  

Although this seems to be getting more prevalent wherever you go. My message to these people, I have no idea who you are and what you are doing, I don't care… but pleased don't block the streets for the rest of us like you are producing a Hollywood blockbuster. 

The beauty of Pedi is you can have a relaxing day by the beach and when the tourist boats are going home, the port returns to a magical normality where you can enjoy good food or a drink in relative peace in aesthetically pleasing locations.

We stayed at the beginning of June for seven nights bed and breakfast and were in one of the full sea view rooms which were fantastic, particularly in the early morning sun. If you sat on the balcony in the evening you could pick up on conversations from the seating below but it was never noisy and the extra was well worth it.  

All the rooms seemed to have a good view, even the ones of the 'newer block' that looked up back towards the 'Windmills' and the old town and they get the afternoon sun.

The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and had good water pressure (albeit with a handheld shower head).  Bodywash, shampoo and soap were all provided as was a kettle and a hairdryer.  If I was being picky, I would prefer some more hanging space, but it was never an issue.  The air conditioning was good and coped well with the ‘heat bomb’ the Dodecanese islands experienced in early June.

The breakfasts were a particular highlight with a combination of fruit, cereals, bread, ham, eggs, cheese as well as a full cooked breakfast including a range of omelettes.  Fruit juices, tea and coffee from a machine was also provided. A  favourite and first was to have halva with breakfast.

I did read a negative comment from another post that there were older groups there. Titan/Saga had a full board group passing through for a few nights and that was never an issue and  I'd much rather have some senior citizens than a bunch of 16 years olds on there first holiday staying next to us.  Other than that, there was a mix of European mainly couples and families.

There are a number of sunbeds at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea, as well as some along the side, I would think in peak season they could be at a premium, but we didn’t have an issue.

Drinks and bar snacks were available throughout the day and the staff were fantastic. Congratulations to Marco and his team as nothing seemed too much trouble from the drink on arrival to the help with cases on departure.
Symi port was a 40 minute walk up the hill and down but the local bus ran to the port via the old town for 2 euros and ran on the half hour so you could nip in or out of town as you pleased.  Wasn't the need to hire a car. There was also a beach water taxi and boat hire running from the town.  

There are two tavernas, two snack bars and two shops, in the village of Pedi as well as quite a decent sized marina on the north side of the bay.  

With its water’s edge location, service and proximity to the hotel, Taverna Katsura provided our two best meals outside of the hotel. 

You can walk to the beaches with Agios Nicolas being 15-20 mins of easy walking or use the water taxi and (car) taxis to or from the port were 7-10 Euros.

Overall, a great location for relaxing, swimming and exploring the port of Symi in the evening and run by really great people.

You will want to stay here when visiting Symi...

This really is a hidden gem, from our arrival at the ferry where a vehicle was waiting to take us to the hotel about a 12 minute drive away, the booking in process was simple and the room was lovely
Staff there are really nice and the setting is beautiful, our only regret was only staying one night

We booked this hotel last minute as we had to change our plans due to the wildfires on Rhodes. We were so pleased to discover this relaxing and laid back hotel and village close to Symi Town. Our group was 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the hotel made us feel very welcome. All the staff we met were great! The rooms were nicely decorated and had lovely balconies with side views of the sea.  Lots of free sun beds in front of the hotel. Good breakfast (included); we also ate lunch each day. 

We loved to swim and snorkel in the sea outside the hotel. One evening we took the hourly bus to Symi (€2 one way). The guests at the hotel when we stayed were a mix of nationalities and all ages.

Relaxing stay, great hotel

Very Nice hotel with a nice view.The personel did their best for us  and we were satisfied. The breakfast was good with meny varm dishes. Highly recommended, a good place to relax. 
Only a few tevernas nearby the hotel, but there was a bus to the main port each hour. In the main port it was a lot og places to eat.

Nice hotel with a kindly staff- highly recommended

The food is not great and our room at the back was very small BUT the staff are lovely and the setting is stunning so I could forgive it anything. There is a lovely walk to St Nicholas Bay, the bus into Symi Town runs every hour and costs 2 euros , bathing from the beach in front of the Hotel is easy, and the main taverna on the beach does excellent Greek meals.

Beautiful location

Had a short stay here in July - hotel is in a lovely bay with good facilities, lots of sunbeds and chairs for guests to use and just 10 steps to the small beach and sea.  We could not rate this hotel high enough and it gave us everything we needed and more.  Good connections to the village and to the main harbour in Symi.  All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and modern, nice selection of food, breakfast good - 11/10 from us - would absolutely return if we come back to Symi.  Thank you Pedi Beach for a lovely stay.

Lovely Hotel in great location

The views are wonderful from this hotel situated only yards away from the sea. Rooms are bright , very clean and nicely furnished and the atmosphere is friendly. Food is like Greek home cooking. Don’t come looking for sophistication and slick service but enjoy the idiosyncrasies and authenticity.

We just stayed at Pedi Beach Hotel. Our stay was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, right on the water, as well as the lovely staff members that made us feel welcome.  The room was very comfortable and spacious and the view was beautiful. We would definitely return.
