Our second visit to this nice and well-run establishment that has a stunning view and is hosted by a very friendly family that tries to solve any problem you might have. Located in the old part of the village.

A great place to relax and enjoy a good vacation

First I will say that the location is not for anyone with walking difficulties or doesn't like walking and wants to stay in their hotel/apartment area. There are only a very few restaurants and bars within a walking distance, and a good walk at that so I wouldn't recommend if you have walking issues if you like to explore. Many many steps, stairs, cobbles, steep pathways.
The studios themselves, our room (we had end room and our friends had the end room at opposite side of the first floor) we shared a communal terrace with the other studios as there was 4 studios on our landing but as there was only us and our friends on this floor we had the entire terrace to ourselves for the week. There was a table and chairs outside each room on the terrace which could have been a bit awkward if we had other people staying on this floor as there is privacy as all shared/communal. However, the panoramic views were breath taking.
The rooms were very bright and clean. Cleaned every day. There was a hob, fridge and all kitchen utensils you could ask for. The safety deposit was free. There was a very good functioning air conditioning unit.
The owners/managers were extremely helpful and very, very friendly and on our last day they very kindly let us keep our rooms (without a fee) until we left late in the afternoon. 
If we were to visit Symi again would definitely visit these apartments as they are lovely but the problem is the location, too far away from the main port/harbour where it all goes on. If you do visit, take good walking shoes!


Great apartments, location not so good

This was our third trip to Sevasti Studios which is a recommendation in itself.  We were not the only guests who had found ourselves addicted to the charm of both Symi and to Sevasti's.  The accommodation is high above the harbour reached by a series of donkey steps (there is the option of a local bus if you are tired!)  We enjoyed beautiful views from our balcony to the windmills and over Pedi harbour.  The room was basic but ideal for our needs with clean, comfortable beds and air con.  There was also a 2 plate cooker which meant we could prepare a simple meal.  However, we always take advantage of the wonderful meals prepared by Sevasti, her moussaka is the best I have ever tasted and can be served on your balcony or in the families garden.  There are several gorgeous and unspoilt beaches some of which can be reached on foot but there are taxi boats for those who want them.  There are restaurants, bars and cafes clustered around the harbour.  A beautiful island with its own unique charm.

We were looking for a traditional Greek holiday, this place ticked all the boxes, perfect!
Good basic accommodation with the most amazing views.
Manoli and family who run the place couldn’t be more friendly, a truly Greek welcome.

You can eat some of the delicious food prepared by Manolis wife, or if you prefer there are several very nice restaurants/tavernas within a 10 or 15 minute walk.

There are a couple of small supermarkets and bakeries about 5 minutes away.

The harbour is a 25 minute downhill walk, getting back is much easier, just catch the Symi bus that runs hourly, tell the driver “Sevasti” and he’ll drop you at the end of the road/path just a couple of minutes away.

This part of the village is very quiet, & is a perfect place to relax, or to explore the labyrinthine streets.

Back to Greece

The rooms are very basic, but clean and with wonderful views over Pedi and the harbour.
Always hot water, even in the early hours of the morning.
The hosts are friendly and welcoming, you will experience the real Greek Philoxeni here!
The food is heavenly!

Filoxeni

The apartments are run by Manoli and his family, all of whom helped in any way they could, from giving directions, letting you have water (or beer) or booking trips. They were always so friendly and smiling which was delightful. It is a small, traditional style set up, with just a few studios, all with fabulous views of town, bays, old windmills, hills and sea. 
The food served by Manoli's wife was delicious, traditional and homemade, following her mother's recipes. 
The apartment was clean, comfortable and had books and board games to borrow if we needed them 
It is only 20 minutes walk (down hill) to the main harbour. Walking back up involves a lot of stairs, which some people may find tough, but we didn't. There are regular buses linking the harbour and the top of the village if you don't fancy the walk. 

It is a quiet part of the village, we were only woken by church bells. There are a number of excellent restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk (again, a bit up and down hill) along quiet streets and cobbled alleyways.
If we come back to Symi we'll be staying here again.

A delightful place to relax

This was the second time I visited the island and again I stayed with my partner at Sevastis apartments. 
Far from the noise of the harbor with a wonderful view of the city below and also Pedi beach. Ran by a lovely family that is always there to look after you, super clean with a reasonable cost.
Sevastis is a place to stay!

An Oasi

Recommend, Recommend, Recommend!!

This was our first visit to Symi although we are Greek island aficionados. We enjoyed Symi tremendously but our stay was made complete by Fortina, her mother, father, brother and the rest of the family. They couldn't do more for you. The rooms are very clean (cleaned daily) with great views. The home cooked food is fantastic and worth the stay alone. Beware, it's a climb from Symi beach and harbour to the village. As I said we would highly recommend and we're already looking to book for next year. Make sure you give the Sevasti Studios a try..you will not be disappointed! Fortina and everyone thanks for a great three weeks. X

Highly Recommend

We travelled to Symi for a week’s break using Olympic holidays, from the moment we arrived at the Sevasti studio’s we were looked after by the family. The apartments have some really good positives.
- amazing view from rooms, the best in Symi 
- free WIFI
- free safe deposit box
- great food menu if you want to stay in and sit on your balcony watching the sunset
- great rooms which are comfortable and well laid out
- hair drier in the room
- air con and fan (air con is 6euro a day)

Nothing is to much trouble for the owners, the breakfast was lovely. 
There were a number of single travellers at the studios and I could see why, it’s friendly and it’s safe.
Yes it’s a walk to the harbour but there’s a bus stop a 2 minute walk down the road and the buses run until 11:30 at night. 
Believe me the view and hospitality is worth it.
We can’t wait to go back and visit again.
We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great apartments lovely family 

Fortina and her father are the type of people that make you return to Greece time and time again , the studios are spotless ,cleaned daily with plentiful supplies of fresh towels and sheets . The ‘Lazy day meals ‘ are to be recommended either on your balcony or in the garden , Fay will cook whatever you wish ,just ask .The views are spectacular and it is very peaceful , what’s not to enjoy .Do not be put off by the position as walking down is easy and there is the regular bus service . The photo guide books were very helpful , after a few days we could actually find our way to the square and back 😂. I hope Fay and her father read this as we were unable to say a massive thank you for there hospitality and kindness during our stay 26/09/19 - 09/10/19 room 8 , and wish them health and happiness and they are soon reunited with Fay’s mother and brother .kind regards Susanna and Rudy
