Hotel has a wonderful position right on the sea front. The rooms were clean and modern bed v comfortable. Large dining area outside. Breakfast buffet and good standard. No lift so need to be able to carry suitcase upstairs. Not disability friendly.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Best Hotel Position in Symi

Just spent 4 nights in this amazing hotel .Rooms have been renovated to a high standard and there are more plans for the bar and restaurant for next year.
Everything from the location to the comfortable bed,the cleanliness and staff was fabulous.The addition of sunbeds outside overlooking the bay made it impossible to beat.
Sunbeds are charged at 15euros each for residents ( 20 euros non residents) for the whole day .However if you spend 15 euros /20 euros or more on drinks snacks ( which to be honest is easy to do ) then sunbed cost is taken off the spend . Special mention to Agim who went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy ,working all day outside bring drinks and snacks to guests,he is a real asset to the team at Nireus.We have been to Symi many times and always tried different accomodation but we will definitely return to The Nireus .
* Just to be aware there is no lift at the hotel.We were in the second floor and there are 40 steps to the rooms .There are no ground floor rooms ,only 1st and 2nd .
For a real treat choose the seaview deluxe rooms ,you won't be disappointed,sitting watching the boats come and go as well as sunset and sunrise .Blissful! 


Heaven on Earth !

Our first time to Symi which definitely gave the wow factor as you entered the port. The hotel was just the icing on the cake, a huge warm friendly welcome when we arrived, a fabulous room with an amazing view. Staff were very tentative nothing too much trouble. It was fabulous to sit on the edge of the waters enjoying a drink and watch the world go by with superb service. We will definitely be back to both Symi and Nireus …. Amazing time had.

Beautiful hotel , room was just lovely , nice Juliet balcony, breakfast was very good quality , plenty of choice 
I was made very welcome on arrival they couldn’t have done any more to make my stay just perfect , stafff helpfull an made me feel at home

Amazing

We loved this place.
But it's not for everyone.
This is not your usual anonymous, corporate 4-star hotel that could be anywhere. This is a traditional family-run Greek hotel.
No luxury, no deep pile carpets, no lift (it's 2 storey), no pool (the Aegean is next to your breakfast table).
The rooms are clean. Linen, towels, inc beach towels are changed daily. Kettle on request. Breakfast is very good (outstanding by Greek standards).
Get a room with a sea view and balcony. The location is stunning. A half hour walk to Nomborio or Pedi. A ten minute walk through the bustling port to the taxi boats which will take you to other beaches on the island (Agia Marina and Agia Nicholas were our favourites.
If you usually spend your holiday entirely in the hotel, this may not be for you. But his is the sort of place that magical holiday memories are made.

Not For Everyone....

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Very clean rooms - fresh towels and sheets daily...wonderful in the heat, Breakfast was outstanding - great choice especially for veggies. Great access to the sea for a quick dip and lovely sea side loungers for sunbathing, cocktails etc. The location is perfect, with a easy 5 minutes stroll to lots of fabulous restaurants and bars, walking along the quay side looking at all the yachts. All staff were very friendly too. Would highly recommend this hotel and hope to re-visit soon.

Great hotel in a great location.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Nireus Hotel. The location is perfect with the most amazing views. The staff were wonderful, kind and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace by the sea and the the food options were plentiful, fresh and delicious. 
We had a sea view ( highly recommended) and the room was immaculately clean. 
I cannot imagine a better place to stay on Symi. Close to shops, tavernas and water taxis and also a great base for walking around this beautiful Island. The walks were spectacular and we loved exploring the myriad of ancient streets. 
A truly amazing experience. Thank you so much.

A perfect stay

We stayed here for 6 days, and staying at The Nireus is magical.  The views are amazing, the staff are so helpful and friendly, very clean, great breakfast, comfortable rooms.  Well worth having a sea view room. Highly recommended.

Best hotel in Symi

Fabulous hotel. Lovely warm staff that provide a great service. The rooms are basic but  very very clean. Small fridge in the room. We had no tea or coffee making facilities but we booked this room very last minute so other rooms may have this & it wasn’t an issue for us as breakfast starts at 07.30. Fresh clean towels. The garden rooms are just as lovely as the sea view. I prefer the garden view (on the 2nd floor) a little more private. Small balcony, to sit 2 people. Outside bar area just lovely and chilled. We came toward end of the season so not too busy. Great location. Everything within walking distance 5-8 mins but then symi is an island. You can have a morning swim if that’s your thing just outside the hotel steps with rail into the med

There is a wonderful location, incredible view, sufficient breakfast and a tiny beach in front of the hotel where you can swim.  The price benefit balance is extremely harmonious, staff are extremely helpful and courteous, beach towels are provided in your rooms by the hotel management.
