The rooms are well positioned and have stunning sea views over Talendos, however the rooms are odd in that they have a door and no windows, thus you have to open the door to see the view.

Well positioned at the top of the village (making parking a little easier) The breakfast was very average with just a grill plate to make toast which was increadibly slow.

The rooftop pool was clean and had nice views but was small and annoyingly shallow

Mixed

We had a room on the country side. It was quite quiet at night. The rooms have a small TV, a closet, a small kitchen, a mini bathroom with a small shower, a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk with mirrors and a rather large balcony. The air conditioning system works well, but it seems relatively loud. You can hear the cold water constantly chattering. Inside the balcony there is a bucket that catches everything that looks like water. It is very rarely changed. The lighting conditions in the first bathroom and the staff are very light, so it was very difficult for a woman to decorate herself. The product was almost enough to be ordered during our breakfast on Saturday morning, cleaned with freshly cleaned hand towels.

For overnight stays

The Continental is a very nice hotel, most of the rooms are overlooking the sea and the rocky coastline of Kalymnos. From my room I could hear the waves ringing day and night. Even from the swimming pool you can see the sea. The hotel is located in Masouri and therefore not in the tourist center, which is easy to reach on foot. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Holidays

Bad and restroom can be cleaner. Water Installation make some noise.Television picture is very bad. Only a few german programs. The best on breakfast is the jogurt.
overall is the hotel ok. price was,  as we expect. General can the standart be higher with low efford.

It's a very old and decaying hotel. It's a youth hostel. It's a very nice place, and now it's frequented by climbers. The sea is fanatic and the islands nearby are recommended.

Just looking is great.

Despite being  a realy busy hotel, when you are sitting poolside, cold beer in hand, overlooking the bay,  looking at Telimnos and beyond,there is literaly no noise and you could be mistaken for believing you were sitting in your own private villa. It is exceptional.
With Thermalina's bright smile greeting you at poolside it really does not get any better.
All the staff are warm, friendly and a credit to the hotel.
Bar snacks are closer in size to main meals than snacks and reasonably priced.
I cant wait to return to my private villa.

Private Villa

We visited the hotel for 2 nights and I have to say the room was clean the hospitality great but there was no shampoo in the room... all in all the hotel has good location and clean and has value for your money

3 couples and 2 days vacation 

We were absolutely thrilled! It's super clean, the rooms are cleaned every day. The view from the pool and bar area is beautiful! The staff are warm and very helpful. You can get to all the shops and restaurants quickly. From the pool we go a little way down to the sea. We would choose this hotel again anytime.

My room and bathroom were always clean, the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast for the hotel category was enough. And otherwise there is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The view from my room and on the terrace; sensational! I can't confirm all the previous, bad reviews. And it's just like this: the way you meet your fellow human beings, it comes back. Thank you very much to all the staff:-) . Maria, for making my room so beautiful every day.

I felt very well taken care of during my holidays and I'm sure I'll book this hotel a second time.

We have stayed here before, we booked a superior sea view room which was wonderful . Huge room with lots of cupboard and hanging space. They now provide a kettle in the small kitchenette which is a nice touch. The staff are lovely and the continental breakfast for us was tasty and provided a enough choice. 
The only downside and I have mentioned it before , the bathrooms need modernising or an update. The shower head and taps were a bit rusty and the tiles on the wall and floor were a bit grubby and have seen better days. 
The wi fi reception has improved and the air con included in the price is a welcome touch.
