I was about to cancel the reservation because i read the bad reviews, and i am so happy i did not! 
The place is so cute, the staff and /probably/ owners were so polite and attentive, we also had lunches at the restaurant. 
We were with a dog and we had the big suit with the ‘garden’ it was perfect for us because we could leave the dog anytime and be at the hotel beach, which personally was the best beach we found on Thasos, very chill, not many people. And yes to be objective, it is not luxuries and there are things that could be improved, and some of the other rooms need some renovation, but come on, if you want luxury go to Dubai.

Nice, clean hotel. We had room no 203 with sea view, really quiet and relaxing to hear the sea waves in the morning and night. A/C was free and working. Wi-fi was good, but worked better outside the hotel. Bathroom was a little too small. There was only one power outlet, so not enough. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious.  Pefkari beach is ideal for snorkeling, so don’t expect flour-like sand, but stones and pebbles. Kapahi restaurant was fine, but we had better food and atmosphere in other places.
So, if you want a relaxing trip, go to Kapahi Beach Hotel! It’s very nice!

Beautiful!

first time in thassos we were luck to find this hotel, which was in a fantastic location, and all was more than expected. lovely food, in the restaurnt of kapaki and great breakfast, fresh and next to the beach, as we were not lazy to walk down keeping our warm coffee to enjoy it till 11.00 ! wish all the guest that travel to thassos to visit once this great place , pefkari, and if you want to relax and enjoy , just book it ! reasonable  prices, too! next tie we come in June , when the prices lower are and the place the same good!!

great hotel to spend relaxing holidays

the hotel is quite old, the rooms are small. The morning breakfast was satisfying. the beach in front of the hotel , but there are slippery rocks and boulders from the sea . The beach is served by the food and beverage service in a spell.

Old but not bad

The worst services. The hotel/ beach bar/ restaurant manager force us to stay 4 family members, 2 kids included, under one umbrella on the beach, to make room for other clients. I never seen something like this. Bad behavior. Shame on him!

Please keep your expectation very very low if you decided to come here. Website fotos very professionally cheated... Hotel is old and neglected. The beach of Pefkari the only one good thing all others.
There is wifi but not working, there is wc and shower but no water... Believe me.. 😡😡😡
