This hotel has the best views from Fira Santorini. The hotel is traditional and the services are good.  It’s conveniently located just 1-2 minute walk to all restaurants and shopping, but away from noisey pathways. 

Best part was having breakfast on our private balcony with breathtaking views every morning.!  I have to say it was the best breakfast I had during this vacation. We stayed only 3 nights.... wished it was a longer stay. 


Best views from Fira

Where to start. We have been treated like royalty everywhere we went in Greece. The staff here is top-notch. The front desk, the wait staff (very generous for our honeymoon. Dessert, wine, coffee drinks on the house). Cannot say enough great things about this place. Absolutely perfect way to end our honeymoon! We will be back. PS, eat dinner here. We decided to lay low our last night and eat here. It was one of the most remarkable meals I have ever eaten in my life. 

Wonderful staff, beautiful room, even better view! 

Horrible experience dealing with the staff. The rooms are very outdated and have issues with AC (especially in summertime). Ever since this place changed ownership or management it has gone down hill.

Beware

When we first saw the view from our room’s balcony our jaws dropped. Despite all the restaurants claiming to have fantastic sunset views, the very best was from our room at a Aigialos. (We were in the Notos room, specifically.) Service was exceptional from the start, from transport arrangements from the port to the welcome drink and expert advice from Nick at the front desk to help with reservations. The gentleman who carried our heavy bags the fair distance to and from the car drop off to our room has our deepest respect and gratitude!

Breakfast delivery to our balcony every morning was a wonderful touch, as were the twice-per-day room services. The location is perfect for exploring Fira town, taking in the breathtaking views from the walk northward, and easily catching a bus to all points of interest. So glad we stayed here instead of Oia, which was much too crowded, touristy (even for Santorini), and pricey. 

This is a beautiful, well-kept, historic building with everything you need to enjoy a romantic getaway.

The perfect honeymoon hotel

It was a lovely stay with great residence and the view from the room was simply splendid. The hotel is located in Fira, its the heart of the city with lot of Restaurants and shopping places nearby. It is a luxury hotel with Greek style residence provided to the guests.

Aigialos Residence & Suites

Within walking distance from the Thria main bus station and the busy "downtown" area with all the restaurants and shops.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff with an amazing two-story room that had a shared veranda that looked out into the Mediterranean Sea. Never got tired admiring the sunset views everyday I was there! To some the room looked kind of dated, but to me the white and blue colors mixed with the wooden and rustic materials just added to the charm of the place. I spent one afternoon just lounging around the room to enjoy the wonderful ambiance with the windows opened letting the warm breeze blow in.

For breakfast you selected various items from a menu and the option of having it served at your veranda/balcony. I took advantage of this and it was cool to open the door and see everything set up and ready to eat while enjoying the views. The only problem I had one morning, which wasn't the fault of the hotel at all, was that the veranda was right next to the public pathway. One of Santorini's many activities is going on a donkey ride along these pathways and I guess that morning a donkey or donkeys had an upset stomach and pooped a great amount along the pathway. I assume it'll all get cleaned up soon, but because it was early no one got a chance to get to it yet. So while eating breakfast on the veranda was a great experience, smelling donkey poop or having the sea blow that smell towards you while eating wasn't that great. Still, I do not blame the hotel for this, but I figure I let people who decide to book the room with the shared veranda that this can happen.

Had an excellent stay here and will definitely consider this place again the next time I'm here! Maybe I'll stay in a higher floor though. ;)

Awesome Room with Breathtaking Views!

We had to leave another hotel (santorini balcony’s) in the middle of the night because it was so dirty. Aigialos Traditional Settlement hotel &staff saved the day! Amazing room, staff, location, food, and views!!!

Rescued our honeymoon!

Our family is just completing our 6 nights here in an Ambassador Suite. Gorgeous view of the caldera from our private terrace where our breakfast is served every morning. The rooms are comfortable, the location excellent, the views idyllic but the best part of this place is the hospitality offered by the hosts Nick and Marina. They were endlessly helpful and patient. Thank you!

Superb hospitality!

Pics do not accurately represent this hotel. Be very weary. AC quit working in our room on final night and we were told there was nothing they could do for us. Final morning at 4am, only brown water came out of faucets and showers. We couldn’t shower or brush our teeth before a day of travel. Had to use bottled water to brush teeth and no showering. Contacted hotel for some type of reimbursement and they flat out said no. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Awful

Luxurious small houses with great balconies and a magnificent view in caldera. Value for money spot: quiet area just five minutes easy walking from the center of Fira!! The bathrooms are lovely and decorated with finesse! Their cuisine and sweets are excellent!!
