Lovely little hostel right near the beach in Perissa. Near a great 24hour bakery, supermarkets and some cheap restaurants. Vicky the host was absolutely amazing! She made the stay fantastic. Super helpful, made us breakfast each morning and cleaned the rooms. She even gave me aloe vera gel to keep when I had sunburn. I'm sad that the hosts are moving on from this place, so wont be there next season. I hope the new owner/manager keeps it as a hostel and makes it just as great as Vicky! I hopefully will be back next year!

amazing host!

Very friendly accommodation from Vicky, the hotel is very well located 200m from the beach in an indoor courtyard, the place is quiet.

Vicki welcomed us very well by offering us juice and fresh water, she also gave us some tips on how to visit the island and so far everything is fine. The problems arose when we entered the room. Unfortunately, the cleaning of the room is very poor: the floor was covered with dust and dirt stains, as well as the closet and furniture so much that we left our things in the suitcase. The bathroom is not a dignified environment: old sanitary and not in good condition, bad shower, small and with an uncomfortable tent that hangs on you while you wash. Too bad because Vicki is a really nice person and in a way.

Great welcome, but not enough.

Santorini is a beautiful island and has so much more to offer than the picturesque but touristy towns of Fira and Oia.  Of course visit those towns, but stay in Perissa!  This is a cute little town offers all kinds of food, drinks, etc. in walking distance and very reasonalbly priced!  As a solo traveler I could not have picked a better place to stay than Villa Kasteli.  Not only is it s short walk to the beach, but this is a perfect place to meet up with other travelers over breakfast or late night drink on the patio.  If you are a traveler you know how awesome it is to connect with other travels to share tips and share stories about traveling the world!  Vicki makes toast & coffee in the morning and is great at making sure everyone is introduced and feels welcome.  I only had 3 days on Santorini so I rented a car to see all the sights, but folks that were staying longer were using the bus to get around just fine.  I stayed in a 3-bed womens room with a little balcony and it was great- clean and very reasonalby priced!  Highly recommend doing the walk from Fira to Oia and seeing ancient Akrotiri during your stay in Santorini.

Great place for solo travelers in Santorini!

The location is ideal, close to the beach. Vicky is a person of love, super kind and attentive to everything you need, no doubt she would return. The breakfast is very rich. You can touch roommates a little annoying, but it's not the hostel's fault. In my case I was in a room of four with three men which was a little uncomfortable.

Hospitality and love.

The locals are super friendly, hospitable and incredibly welcoming, and I highly recommend it because I had a very good stay, the place is beautiful, clean and has the opportunity to interact with other travelers.

It's an incredible stadium.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Villa Kasteli for the last week of September, the hotel's location is central, 100 metres from the splendid beach of Perissa, a beautiful promenade full of restaurants, bars and shops (many at reasonable prices). It is located a few metres from the bus stops of the island (better way to get around according to us), but also a few metres from numerous quiet car parks.

This is the top hostel!

My flight landed and I didn’t get to the villa until 430, she woke up and greeted me. The dorms were good and I was happy with how I slept. She offers free breakfast of toast and coffee until 1030. Don’t forget to sign the book and pin which part of the world you’re from!!

Perfect middle ground for price, location and comfort!

Hostel just a few steps from the beach of Perissa. The people who work there are super kind and available. Breakfast is offered by the house. The cleaning is daily. The sheets are changed often and even the towels. The bathroom is small but all in all convenient. The only drawback is the closet since there are no drawers to put clothes in. To be a hostel is great!

Advised!

Vicky, the owner does everything to make you feel good. I felt like I was being greeted by friends. A bottle of fresh water on arrival, breakfast generously offered in the morning. impeccable cleanliness. I had a hard time getting back from Vicky's house.
