At first glance, nice hotel, surrounded by vegetation. Beach and swimming pool. Simple but decent room, except for the green light above the door that shines like in broad daylight. The problem is the continuous takeoff of planes, even in the middle of the night, and the deep music coming from the bar. Not very relaxing. When in a restaurant in the form of a buffet, not terrible. The hot dishes are warm or even cold. The staff is not friendly. What is pleasant is the proximity to the beach. Don't forget to take bottles of mineral water. Essential car.

A lot of negative

Unfortunately, this hotel can only be scored by one employee at the reception, as the other, alleged bosses, are TOTAL indifferent to the guests.

Never again

The hotel is located in front of a beach with rounded corners.You have to bring water-shoes. Very relaxed.The reception staff was a little dry and did not give us full information about the means of transportation.The restaurant staff were attentive and the food was pleasant.

Hotel for rest

Like others, we seem to have enjoyed the pleasure of hearing planes land and take off from the airport just behind the hotel and quite frankly this is not compensated by the beautiful black sand beach.

Hotel Okeanis is not up to par

We stayed only two nights but it wasn't for one.The bad breakfast, the lack of cups, the dishes, in a country where they have the richest yogurt, only one type for salads...The artificial orange juice almost almost of the reconstituted powder.Far from everything thanks to god there is a decent and rich tavern nearby.The beach is a little dirty...

Away from everything.

Nice hotel with groups of rooms of typical Greek architecture. Very clean with pleasant and well-kept landscaped islands. Welcoming reception staff. Smiling professional room staff. More than miserable restaurant (rata) with incompetent and impolistic staff. Not once does he greet you. Undisputed lack of hygiene (dirty table without napkin...). During the week service of the same food (fried chicken, panga boulette and I do not describe the pasta...). I will no longer use the services of this Heliades tourist.

Mixed dough

Extremely noisy hotel, airport proximity, doors that slam day and night, poor dining room, handwritten card, extremely limited choice in a short word does not match a 3-star hotel at all.

Really average hotel, poor dining.

Luckily only had to stay the one night.

Staff were completely ignorant with no customer service whatsoever. The pool bar and restaurant staff were probably the worst I have ever come across. Not only was everything too much trouble, they had no manners and were rude.

The pool was so dirty you could not see your feet at the bottom.

The restaurant had limited choice, and the quality was horrendous.

As for the furnishing, old and broken, with dirty stained bedding. 

I hope to never stay in an hotel of this bad quality again. 

What a dump

We stayed at this hotel as part of a two day trip to Santorini. The hotel was dreadful and we wished that we had saved money and just booked the day trip. 
The hotel is situated next to the airport with very little around it. This was not convenient when staying such a short time.
The rooms are very basic and in need of repair. The bedding was stained and towels threadbare. 
The restaurant for evening meal was terrible. Dirty chairs with cobwebs hanging off and poor food quality. Breakfast buffet was poor also. Very little choice and of poor quality. 
The pool was a good size but needed a really good clean as did the paddling pool. 
I’m so glad we didn’t have to stay any longer than one night.  

Dreadful

I booked this hotel having only read the booking.com where it had received 4 stars. Not the same on Trip Advisor. This hotel is NOT in Kamari central. It's a bit far out and you'd need to get a bus to Monothelpos (Fira).bus stop is ten minutes walk from hotel. On our arrival we looked at the pool, but it was crowded by young adults/teenagers (not v romantic) we decided to head to our room. However, later on in the week we noticed more diversity in ethnicity and ages. I wouldn't book this hotel again if I were going on a honeymoon. It has a more younger vibe (early 20) but in the week this can change. 
Good points. 
-We got a nice room, not the same as those in pictures (no Bathtub). Window lock not working. 
- you can get a bus not consistent though. 
-good cleaner
-breakfast buffet has range of food (bit greasy)
-near a beach( pebbly though!)
- good for young clubbers/teenagers
- waiters work hard.
Improvement
-near music too loud, music feels like clubbing Ibiza type :( 
- trips and car hire are charged at a higher price.
-some customers at the hotel can be rude, pushing you to get breakfast. 
- beach is too pebbly to swim/dirty
- sunbeds need tlc
-No security box inside room
-door lock seems easy to break in
-dirty swimming pool after someone put toilet paper in! 
 - too far away from Kamari beach everything else. 
My advice is too book in Thera as it's easy to get around even though others don't suggest that!
