We spent three nights here and really could have stayed forever. We were met with huge warmth and friendliness by Mika and her team. Our room was on the front of the property on the first floor. We walked in tired and hot from our ferry journey to be met by the most stunning view. The property is literally on Livadia beach. Outside our window was the promenade path and then the beach. The room was beautifully presented with lovely artworks on the walls and contained everything you could need. A big comfy double bed nice wooden furniture and a decent bathroom. You really don't stay here for anything more than the view and the beach but the lovely room framed the view perfectly. We had breakfast the next morning . Cooked by the lovely Marianna and Mika chatted to us and made us feel so welcome. Then it was the ten steps to the free sunbirds for the day! We walked into the main area of Livadia every day. It's about ten minutes and is a beautiful stroll along the promenade. Livadia is tiny but so well formed. It's picture perfect and a great combination of working Greek village and low key tourism. It has everything you could need and everyone gathers each evening in the square under the trees . So relaxing and so lovely. 

Fabulous rooms in stunning setting

We booked two rooms in August and had a great short break. Located a few meters from the beach (sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge), very close to the port (10-15 minutes walk). Nice, large and clean rooms with a/c, fridge, kettle, small balcony. Tilos is the best place to relax.

OK, so we've stayed here before, and in the family's Kleopatra's rooms adjoining it.
This place is 10 minutes walk from the port, in a lovely secluded quiet part of the beach "road" (no motor vehicles allowed!) and just a few yards from the sea.
Open up your shutters onto the balcony and the calm azure sea is just below you! Marvellous!
Only a few minutes walk to the village of Livadia, with myriads of tavernas  along the way (all good!) and into the village with a few bars and more tavernas, pharmcist, small supermarkets near the square. Location could not be better.

Couldn't fault the housekeeping! Sheets were changed every 2 days, towels as you used them, and the room was cleaned every day, whether it needed it or not. In addition, figs and melon were left from the family when they had them in our fridge. 

Mika and Kleopatra, Nina and Pavlos and all the family are all charming, and only too happy to chat, discuss anything, and offer a frappe on a hot day. With varying degrees of English and Greek, it makes for fun conversations!

We cannot recommend this place enough! Everything, from the ambience, location, cleanliness, and family friendliness, are all perfect!

Superb location, unbelieveable housekeeping, and charming hosts!

We stayed in one of the two rooms with sea view literally on the beach. Tilos is a quiet island perfect for winding down and relaxing. The room is large, with a comfy king size bed. There is a fridge, a kettle and everything you need to have breakfast in the room. The balcony opens up to the sea and guests can use sunbeds and umbrellas for free. We truly enjoyed our stay.

An exquisitely Greek reception of the housewife, directly on the sea and overlooking a well-maintained pedestrian walkway in the urban furnishings and surrounded by several Taverns.

Tender Tilos

So there we were eating in a restaurant on Rhodes when the waiter casually asked where were we going.  Tilos we said.  I have an auntie with rooms on Tilos, he said. Don't book - just turn up and I will tell them to expect you, he added. The ferry arrived in Livadia - the heartbeat harbour of the island after midnight. We just knew we were looking for Pavlos Rooms. We eventually found them. They were barely 10 metres from the gently lapping azure Aegean Sea. The auntie had gone to bed but her daughter Mika was on hand to show us our room. Whitewashed and simply furnished with balcony almost in the sea - that's how close it felt. The room had a shower, fridge, basic crockery and cutlery, kettle and the all important wi fi connection. Why would we want to be anywhere else? Stunning views; five minutes from restaurants and bars in sleepy Livadia and a cool, clean bedroom. It was an old fashioned Greek village room.  If you want little luxuries or whinge when things aren't perfect - give this place a miss. Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss - but the pluses outweighed the negatives. Breakfast was not available but part of the joy of Greek island life is enjoying a leisurely, late breakfast at a local bar.  Seldom have we stayed anywhere quite so peaceful.
