Our experience there is somehow hard to explain because on one hand the accomodation wasn't that modern but on the other hand i had the best time of my stay in this place. 
There are not any reception except the bar's restaurant, the staff aren't checking on us everytime and the place is quite old and need a bit of a refreshment but this hostel run by a nice family made us feel peculiarly good.
The fact that the beach (which is also amazing) is 2' from our room is very relaxing,moreover they also provide the sunbeds! The staff is very kind and helpful.
What we enjoyed the most was the Greec party with Greec music played in live that they host every week. That night we had the chance to learn a bit more about the Greec dance and the way they party and it was great! The food was also well-prepared a d tasty.
We don't regret renting studios there: even if the quality is not the best, the atmosphere was amazing.
We sincerely hope the best for the owner of this hostel and his family.

A peculiar hostel

We stayed only for beers and the view is amazing! It was so nice to share a beer with friends, and admire the waves coming down the sand of Tolo... also the people are very nice and welcoming! Worth it

Nice view of the beach

I spent a 2 week holiday at the Barbaressa and felt that I was part of the family due to Lisa & Dimitri's hospitality. Due to its close proximity to the beach, I went down every morning to enjoy breakfast on their terrace, swim and use their free sunbeds for as long as I wanted. In the afternoons, I had lunch and chatted to local expats who told me they spent most of their summers dining there because the food was homemade.
Thursday evenings, the Barbaressa had their Greek night and tables were full for the Greek dancing presentation. I think, for anyone who wants to feel at home rather than just be a tourist, the Barbaressa is perfect. I also saw that it was a good place for families with small children as the water was shallow and the environment quite safe.

Cosy traditional Hotel right on the Beach

Small family run, right on the beach with a covered patio. Has a Greek night on Thursdays where one of the sons and his friend give a great demonstration of dancing. Many of the villagers also attend and dance.  Rooms are comfortable and the food is good. Has a steep hill down to the building but can be accessed by the beach which is flat.

Great family holiday

This is a fairly basic (2 star) property, but quite comfortable and well located right on the water.  It was very quiet when we were there (off season) but we were still made to feel very welcome.  Breakfast in the downstairs bar was good.

Fairly simple but comfortable

We booked this apartment 'cause it had good rating and good price.
When we arrived to Tolo at 9PM, our room was not cleaned yet. Furniture in the room had bad view - old and useless (two chests and no table). We didn't have cups even for two (description says that this is apartment with kitchen).
We stayed here 6 nights, room was cleaned twice - it's good, but while cleaning they forget to give toilet paper :(
And after all we can't pay with credit card.
What was very good in this apartment - breakfasts. Every time we had different :) And service - all stuff were very nice. Owner Dimitrious show us greek dances by himself!
