Excellent location in Pelion. On the way to milotapamus beach. Kind, beautiful, helpful host. Very nice traditional rooms. Great breakfast. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you  !!!

What a beautiful place to stay

The rooms in this place are huge! Ours had a king size bed with a fireplace, wardrobes and a balcony with forest and sea views. Yeah some things are a little tired but remember this is a 2 star hotel. It definitely deserves more 

Nice room with a view at a bargain price

Diogenes is rated a two star hotel. It deserves better.  The facilities are simple, but tastefully appointed with antiques and replicas, and offering a magnificent view of the mountainside sloping down to the sea.  The immediate landscape features a flower/rose garden surrounding the shaded veranda where you get to enjoy an outstanding breakfast/brunch—worth every penny and more. The room are not large, but quite adequate and utterly spotless, as are the bathrooms. The owners/hosts are warm, most accommodating, and informative. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. I could wish for better appointments in the bathrooms (e.g., a soap/shampoo dish in the shower) but I have never encountered a better value or a more pleasant stay. None of us would hesitate to return. 

A rare find

The hotel is two-star And has  houtdated equipment  but the attitude of the owner and the staff is friendly , helpful and like family.
 The view from the hotel is amazing and its location is very convenient. Close to the beach, a good restaurant and a cute bar. You will not regret staying there

Very good

We feel so lucky to have found Hotel Diogenes. Beautiful setting, stunning views, amazing room with four poster bed and balcony, wonderful staff and perfect hosts, Chrissa and Panagiotis. The breakfast was so delicious, freshly made pies, thick creamy yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and a huge salad made with the family's own produce. 
So many wonderful touches that made our stay perfect. Antique lace everywhere, the smell of polished wood, fresh fluffy towels and white cotton sheets.
The warm and open welcome we received from Chrissy and Panagiotis made our stay so special. We cannot wait to return. We have found our idyllic holiday.

Beautiful!

We stayed a couple of nights in early May.  The hotel seemed a little disorganised when we first arrived but after that it was very good.  And we soon warmed to it.  The room was a decent size with a large balcony with good views of the sea.  Bathroom was large.  We did our own breakfasts on our balcony. Plenty parking outside and a hose to clean car windows!  Our landlady was excellent at telling us all the things in the vicinity we should do.  Even though we only had a couple of days we did most of them.
