spacious and clean rooms, warm hospitality by Tassos, a young manager, whose grandmother Gariffallia cooks an excellent breakfast.  A stylish family guesthouse, furnished in good taste,  well-kept Located right in the center of the village, plenty of parking.

very pleasant stay

We spend 4 days in the guesthouse with my wife.  During this COVID-19 times the rooms was immaculate with daily steam  and regular cleaning.  IPeople made us feel very safe.  Breakfast was served due to the regulations.  It was delicious with local products and a cheese-pie to remember. Great hospitality made us feel like home. With my wife we have traveled a lot and have stayed in many famous hotels around the world, this one will be in the list we will remember.  Totally recommended

Warm hospitality in a magnificent village with a lot of history

This was our fifth time in Stemnitsa Guesst house,each time the experience is way better.The owners are a wonderful couple with joy and respect for each guest, treating them as family members.Not to forget the delicious food that grandma Gerifalia prepares,made with raw ingredients picked up from her most of the time,with so much love and joy in her eyes.From our room we could smell some delicious sweets from the shop next door, strongly recommend.
Feels like time has stopped in this village and the only noise you hear is  nature and the river further, that's why i love this place so much.

Home away from home

Stayed her for 2 days and it couldn’t have been nicer.
The owner and her grandson were wonderfully attentive and genuinely wanted us to have a pleasant stay.
We had a lovely room on the ground floor that opened out to a picturesque balconied patio, where during the quiet of the afternoon we could hear someone quietly strumming and singing - absolutely charming!
A special mention about the breakfast, buffet style with plenty of choice and homemade savoury pastries - gorgeous!

So friendly with wonderful rooms!

A cozy, welcoming get-away in the mountains of Greece. Our host and her grandson were attentive to all our needs. Large home-made breakfast and great local hiking. The village is a home to local silver artisans and seems untouched by time. We were impressed by the number of young business owners, anxious to please.

This is a wonderful guesthouse, I cannot say enough about it. Not only are the rooms gorgeous and the deck majestic, the people who run it are the most warm and welcoming I’ve ever met! After our long bus ride we were greeted and given drinks and snacks and asked about the town! The village had just had a power outage and they were so apologetic and accommodating, but this was no problem as we just enjoyed some Alfa beers in the square :) 

If you ever go to Stemnitsa I really recommend this place, it’s wonderful and you will feel like you’ve brought a piece of home with you. 

I felt so at home here!! 

On arrival a space had been kept especially for our car outside the door.  Tea and cake was ready.  Our room was spacious and spotless with a small outside balcony.  

The lady in charge did all she could have possibly done to ensure we had all we wanted.  The village was quiet ( during the first week of April). We learned things are busier in the winter in the mountains. 

We walked bits of the nearby Menalon Trail which is really well marked.  We went to the nearby waterworks museum which was so much better than its title suggests.

We loved the wildflowers once we worked out where to look.  

However the highlight of the whole trip were the wonderful traditional breakfasts at the guest house with something new everyday and which set us up for the rest of the day as we explored.

Wonderful service. So pleased we stayed here for our week

We arrived in Stemnitsa during a holiday weekend and the town was jammed with tourists. Since the Guesthouse has no parking, we were a little nervous as all parking was jammed for at least half a mile before the town. Fortunately, the hotel reserves off the entire street in front of the property and as you arrive they emerge to clear away the traffic cones, chairs or whatever else they're using to reserve their spaces. We were welcomed with Greek desserts and a liqueur, all of which were available for our entire stay. The property has a distinct B&B feel with only a small number of rooms with those at the back being preferable. Once parked, no real need to move the car as restaurants, hiking trails etc are only a very short distance. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable and a real bargain. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Why stay anywhere else?

A wonderful small guesthouse with spacious rooms. Very clean. Great breakfast . The hospitality of the people of this guesthouse was amazing. A big thank you to the lady's working there .The location is also perfect. Five minutes from the main square where the coffee shops are and the tavernas. There is a small fridge in the room. The friendly exes of the staff is amazing.

Cozy, friendly staff, staff is very helpful.

We're back after several years. The building is still improved. The room with balcony and a delicious and quiet hot tub, the flowers surrounding everything, the breakfast with dishes cooked by the very kind owner, excellent and varied as well as abundant.
