Owner is very polite and welcoming!
Everything is clean, interior is very nice and unique.
View from the window of the room on Pelion and Volos is incredible, especially in the night when lights are on.
Definitely 11/10!

Beautiful traditional hotel

We had a lovely time at Hotel Petrino. Ideal location, between the two villages of Makrinitsa and Portaria (walking distance, or a very short drive); beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully designed, big, bright rooms. Breakfast is basic, but good. The family that owns the place is lovely, they were very helpful in giving us local advise and recommendations of where to go off the beaten path. Those suggestions made our time at Pelion truly remarkable. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay

A beautiful place with bright and clean rooms. The owners are a wonderful couple ready to assist you in any time. An excellent breakfast and a wonderful reception. We will definitely come back here as soon as we can!

The perfect traditional hotel

Πέτρινο has a nice view and also available parking, it’s important due to the lack of it in the area. The hotel is nothing special. The breakfast is average, all the given options are ordinary and for sure nothing homemade. 

Nice view

Quiet and pastoral. Many restaurants and cafes within a walking our short driving distance. 30 minutes from Volos by car. Nice breakfast. Beautiful back yard for the just to play, with a lawn, this and some trees. Clean. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel

The hotel is conveniently located between Portaria and Makrinitsa, being distant around 1 km from either of the two picturesque villages. It is beautiful, very clean, and has its own parking lot. The hosts are very kind, general atmosphere is warm and pleasant, and the view is magnificent! Just across the road there is Aeriko Cafe Bar, offering breathtaking view of Volos and the slopes of Mount Pelion, as well as splendid selection of pastries and cocktails. Everything in and around this hotel is neat, clean and beautifully decorated!
We stayed in 'Suite with Fireplace with View'. This apartment is excellent - spacious, neat, traditionally decorated, with amazing view - as described; however, whereas the king size bed in the bedroom is large and comfortable, one slight remark would be that the sofas in the living room are rather hard and firm to sleep on, so perhaps some solution could be found to make them more comfortable (softer)...
(I believe that another remark - neutral, neither negative nor positive, made for the sake of orientation - would be helpful to those coming by car from the direction of Portaria: as soon as you see Makrinitsa entry sign, slow down, as the hotel will appear on your right just around the curve.)
