This review must be seen in context of the price (£50). We stayed here for a night after 2 weeks in Skopelos, prior to flying home.
This hotel exceeded our expectations, the position opposite the beach, the very helpful staff and comfortable beds and the local villages and restaurants made a mere stop over memorable.
It made us want to explore the area on a subsequent visit.
Highly recommended as a base to explore the pelion region.

Delightful

The worst place we ever been in Greece ,  compare rooms in real to pictures- nothing common !
Small rooms, bad smell, bathroom- shower not
Working…. A lot of noises, bad - like i was on a wooden bench! The pool ! When you go up - brutal place and view BUT ! so dearly water, our kids cry, 
Breakfast! So expensive- almost nothing to choose! And NO coffee! If you want coffee you have to pay extra for it !?! The stuff - i think they are punished to work there - so angry and not helpful all the time - I ask for hot milk for my kid - the lady say we do not have worm only cold, i ask can they worm it a little- there is so big kitchen- she say i do not know how ?!  Finally we receive ….. we stay only one night and directly change it next day

Not go in this hotel

Decent entrance and reception. Staff very welcoming. However, the room could do with an upgrade. Not so much the furniture but the sheets are old, and no longer very white. The extractor fan in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and made a fearful amount of noise when switched on. In general the hotel is noisy - next door's morning ablutions audible and outside in the hallways every sound is echoed into the room. 

Rooms a bit run down 

I can say that the food in the restaurant was very good and delicious.The service also very good.I was staying at a nearby hotel but there were some problems with the food-bad quality,without any choice thats why every evening we went to different ouzakis.The cousine ot the hotel was great.
Recomment the restaurant highly.

Good food

Seafront location adjacent to promenade with various cafes nearby.Hotel was renovated some years ago but now requires significant maintenance.Small rooms with tiny bathroom.Bathroom featured some dangerous bare wires in extractor fan fittings ,hotel staff not particularly interested.
Decent breakfast.

Not too expensive

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However the hotel is very dirty. The rooms are in bad condition, especially the bathrooms. 
Also there was no mosquito nets on the windows, nor in bed.
Airco was working though and there was warm water in the shower.

Not pleasant

Great location, great food and the beach was great!! Rooms were clean and the pool was nice!! Would differently stay again. Went with teenage kids and the room was the prefect size. Lots of places to eat on the beach. Location to all of the other little towns were about 15 minutes away. Close to Volos about 1/2 hour.
