Very cozy atmosphere, hospitable host Spiros, who had no problem to wait for us till midnight to arrive. Quite and beautiful location in the mountain, same time not far from the town. Awesome breakfast served outside in yard.

Relaxing beauty

If you want privacy and the practice of doing nothing in the middle of mountain scenery, book this hotel with confidence. But keep in mind: 1) The nearest tavern is 9 km away, or bring your own food supply and cook 2) The last kilometer of the road leading to the hotel is a rocky mountain road, so take care of your car 3) Don’t pay attention to the rave 10-point reviews about this place, the hotel is clearly overrated.

Think twice. 

What a wonderful place to be. Beautiful, peaceful and the warmest of welcomes from our hosts. We stayed as part of a trip aroud Greece by car. All of the trip was lovely and Mountain Resort was fabulous. Thank you Kostis and Vicky for taking the time to make this a wonderful stay and for going above and beyond to look after us.



Beautiful, peaceful and the warmest of hosts

I visited this resort with my boyfriend. It was a recommendation by another couple. We found exactly what we were looking for!! Peace and quiet. The ultimate relaxation! The only things you could hear up there were the birds' chirping and wind's blowing! Also, the area provides many routes for climbing and cycling. Furthermore, another positive point was the owner's hospitality. They were always there for us not only to serve us and give us all the necessary infos about the area but they were always available to keep us company! It is suitable for couples, families and friends. I will visit it again and it is definitely a recommendation of mine!

An amazing destination

We stayed for 6 nights. The whole place is amazing, in the forest hearing just birds and nothing else! Owners...Great People, very kind and looking to do their best in order the visitors to have a great time!

Amazing Place, Great Hospitality

Very nice,  good hospitality,clean house, take your stear and your foods and enjoy the view in a barbeque with out extra charges 😀 the road is not soo good but you can handle.. good invaromen for baby 👶  a lot activates around...

Near the town...

The road to the resort was bumpy, but it is totally worth it!! The houses are big, comfortable and cosy. The view is spectacular!! The heating is on all day so you don't have to worry about the cold. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. Mr. Kostas, the owner, and his wife, Vicky, are there for everything you might need, ready to offer their services and help. They are so kind and so hospitable, and make sure you ask for suggestions on where to eat or places to visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone and I will visit the place again most certainly!!

Alpine Beauty!!

We visited 916 Mountain Resort during the winter and we did not expect to find such beauty only a few miles away from the town of Xanthi! The Resort seems as if it has naturally sprung in the middle of the forest with its stone houses and beautiful patios perfectly integrated within nature. With a number of trails easily accessible it is the perfect get-away for every nature lover family, couple or group of friends. We came to find a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated room with all necessary (and even more) amenities, where all COVID-19 precautions had been taken to the fullest! Most importantly, we had the most amazing hosts, Mr. Kostas and Ms. Vicky who attended to our every need and made sure to make us feel like home! We will make sure to visit again during summertime but until then the pictures we have seen and the amazing time we have had will stay with us with the warmest of coulours! Thank you so much!!!!!

Best short get-away ever! Definitely coming back!

When my friends and I decided to explore the natural beauty of Xanthi, we luckily stumbled upon this beautiful mountain resort named 916. Everything regarding our stay was simply better than what we could’ve expected. From the delicacies that were prepared for us from Mrs. Vicky, to the location of the resort and its spectacular design, to Mr Kostas and his more than welcoming personality, everything made us love Xanthi even more and we all can’t wait for our next visit. Strongly recommend this to everyone!

My friends and I visited 916 Mountain Resort to relax, enjoy the nature and celebrate a special occasion. 

Our stay was magnificent: Kostas and Vicky were the most accommodating hosts, sending out positive energy and sharing amazing stories with us. The premises were clean and cozy, with very good food. 

This is definitely the place to be if you are looking for a quiet retreat up in the mountains. 

After 3 days in such a great location with such authentic hosts, we will definitely be back for more!
