Our stay was wonderful, the staff was really friendly and polite and the unit even better that the pictures. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was great and it was served in bed whenever requested. Well done.

Excellent experience

We stayed at the Paramythenio Guesthouse for 2 nights, in the Swan Lake room (Paramythenio means "from a fairy tale" in Greek and all 5 rooms are named after fairy tales. The room itself was large and very nicely decorated and included a wood fireplace. It also has a bathtub-jacuzzi in the room itself, which is a very nice touch for couples. 

The landlady is a very friendly and pleasant woman, who did everything she could to make us feel at home and looked after. She prepares breakfast herself and serves it to your  room at a time that suits the guest and will also make you tea and coffee on request (free of charge). The free minibar was a nice add on.

We only found very few negatives as far as the room we stayed in was concerned. First of all, the bathtub in the room was nice, but we would have also appreciated a shower cabin in the bathroom itself. Also, the room has plenty of wall space for a much larger TV. I think the one we had was a 19 inch one and the bed is too far away from it. Finally, our room was on the ground floor at the back of the building, which meant that our view was a wall of rocks too close to the window (as the building is built on the side of the mountain).

Also, remember to take cash as the guesthouse does not take any cards.
